بازخوانی مفاهیم عدالت و اعتدال در فلسفه صدرالمتالهین

اعتدال از مفاهیم محوری اخلاق است که پیشینه تفکر فلسفی در مورد آن به سقراط و افلاطون و ارسطو می‌رسد و فیلسوفان اسلامی در همان سنت ارسطویی یا فراتر از آن به بحث در این ‌باره پرداخته‌اند و به دقایقی از این بحث دست یافته‌اند. ملاصدرا در زمینه عدالت و حد وسط و اعتدال قوای نفس انسان، نظریاتی مهم ارائه داده است. می‌توان این مراحل را برای آن برشمرد: 1. دیدگاه ارسطویی؛ 2. دیدگاهی که عنصری جدید و سلبی در عدالت را مطرح می‌کند؛ 3. دیدگاه نهایی با عنصری جدید و ایجابی را که در مقایسه با مراتب دیگر جنبه اصالی دارد، برای اعتدال و عدالت معرفی می‌کند که همان توحید است. هدف این نوشتار بازخوانی تحلیلیِ نظریه اعتدال و عدالت از منظر ملاصدراست که با توصیف و تحلیل مراحل یادشده، روشن می‌شود آنها غیرقابل جمع نبوده، بلکه مراحل طولیِ مختلف یک نظریه واحد است که متناظر با نوعی تدرّج در نظریات ناظر به اصلِ وجود طراحی شده است.
