خداباوری کلاسیک تعدیل‌یافتة سویین‌برن

سویین برن، فیلسوف معاصر دین، متفکری است که در برابر خداناباوران از وجود خداوند دفاع می کند. پرسش این پژوهش آن است که «سویین برن چه قرائتی از خداباوری را ترسیم می کند و آیا این تلقی از خداباوری تلقی مناسبی از خداوند است»؟ با توجه به بررسی مسئلۀ شر و چالش برانگیزترین اوصاف خداوند از منظر و مرئای سویین برن می توان وی را به عنوان یک خداباور کلاسیک تعدیل‎یافته معرفی نمود؛ چراکه وی مهم ترین اوصاف پذیرفته ‏شده در خداباوری کلاسیک را با تفسیری متفاوت تبیین می نماید. وی سرمدیت فرازمانی را انکار می کند؛ همچنین تغییرناپذیری حداکثری را انکار کرده، تغییرناپذیری حداقلی را پیشنهاد می دهد. در باب علم مطلق قرائتی تعدیل یافته تر از تلقی کلاسیک ارائه می دهد. به نظر می رسد شایسته است الهیات سویین برن را «الهیات کلاسیک تعدیل‏یافته» معرفی نمود. اگرچه با توجه به تحلیل وی از علم مطلق، در شیب لغزنده به سمت خداباوری گشوده قرار می گیرد، مواجهۀ وی با مسئلۀ شر از رویکرد الهیات گشوده متفاوت است. طبق بررسی می توان گفت تلقی سویین برن از خداوند، دچار مشکلات متعددی است. این مقاله با روش توصیفی- تحلیلی به بررسی خداباوری سویین برن می پردازد.

swinburne’s modified classical theism

swinburne, a contemporary philosopher of religion, is a thinker who defends the existence of god against atheists. the question of this article is, &what reading of theism does swinburne draw?& and is this view of theism a proper view of god? considering the examination of the problem of evil, and the most challenging attributes of god from swinburne’s point of view, he can be introduced as a moderated classical theist; because he explains the most important attributes accepted in classical theism with a different interpretation. he denies eternal eternity. it also denies maximal immutability and suggests minimal immutability. regarding absolute science, he offers a more adjusted reading than the classical view. it seems appropriate to introduce swinburne’s theology as &modified classical theology although according to his analysis of absolute knowledge, he is on the slippery slope towards outspread theism; but his confrontation with the problem of evil is different from the approach of outspread theology. based on the analysis, it can be said that swinburne’s view of god has many problems. this article examines swinburne’s theism with a descriptive-analytical method.
