شاخص‌های شبکه‌های ایگومحور: مرور نظام‌مند

هدف: مرور نظام‌مند پژوهش‌های قلمرو شاخص‌های شبکه‌های ایگو به منظور تعیین ابعاد و جنبه‌ها و نیز دسته‌بندی شاخص‌های بررسی‌شده در متون در راستای ایجاد مبنایی جهت ارزیابی عملکرد برون‌دادهای علمی و یا شبکه‌های افراد، هدف اصلی مقالۀ حاضربود.روش: پژوهش حاضر با رویکرد تحلیلی و به روش مرور نظام‌مند انجام شده است. مراحل جست‌وجو و تحلیل داده‌ها در این مطالعه بر اساس راهنمای استاندارد پریزما تدوین شده است. بدین منظور بیست و سه پژوهش مرتبط با شاخص‌های شبکۀ ‌ایگو از 2003 تا 2023 در مجموعۀ هستۀ وب‏گاه علم و اسکاپوس و ieee جست وجو و پس از پالایش نتایج ارائه شده‌اند. در هر سه پایگاه محدودیت‌های نوع مدرک (مقاله و کتاب)، و بازۀ زمانی (2003 تا 22  may 2023) و زبان (انگلیسی) اعمال شد.یافته‌ها: متون مرورشده در این پژوهش سه سطح از شاخص‌های شبکۀ ‌ایگو با توجه به ویژگی‌های ساختاری و ترکیبی را در قالب بیست و یک شاخص شناسایی کرده‌اند که عبارتند از: شاخص های پیوند ایگو آلتر، شاخص های ویژگی‌های آلتر، و شاخص های پیوند آلتر آلتر. چهار شاخص ویژگی‌های پیوند ایگو آلتر شامل اندازۀ شبکه، تعدد، قدرت پیوند، و پراکندگی پیوند است که نشان‌دهندۀ ابعاد متفاوت روابط میان موجودیت مرکزی (ایگو) و آلترها است. شاخص‌های مرتبط با ویژگی‌های آلترها که در شبکۀ ‌ایگو وجود دارند شامل شش شاخص ترکیب شبکه، شباهت ایگو و آلتر، ناهمگونی، مرکزیت آلتر، پراکندگی آلترها، و پراکندگی جغرافیایی هستند. دو مفهوم رایج در علوم اجتماعی مانند سرمایۀ اجتماعی و حمایت اجتماعی را می‌توان زیرمجموعۀ معیار ترکیب تعریف و محاسبه کرد. یازده شاخص تراکم، تعداد و اندازۀ مولفه‌ها، چاله‌های ساختاری برت (سه معیار اندازۀ موثر، محدودیت، و سلسله‌مراتب جهت محاسبۀ این شاخص پیشنهاد شده است)، شاخص واسط گلد و فرناندز، شاخص بینابینی ایگو، مرکزیت رتبه، نزدیکی و بینابینی آلتر، دسته‌ها، تعداد گره‌های منفصل، و هستۀ پیرامونی در دسته پیوندهای آلتر آلتر مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. برخی از معیارهای ساختاری شبکه مبتنی بر نمودار هستند و بر اساس نظریۀ نمودار سنجیده شدند که از جملۀ آن ها می‌توان به شاخص‌های تراکم، مرکزیت نزدیکی، درجه و بینابینی آلتر، دسته‌ها، تعداد گره‌های منفصل، و هستۀ پیرامونی اشاره کرد. این معیارها زمانی که در شبکه‌های ایگو مورد استفاده قرار می‌گیرند، اغلب معنی و تفسیر خاصی دارند به‌ویژه اگر ایگو از شبکه حذف شده باشد این معانی با معانی شبکه‌های کل‌محور متفاوت است.نتیجه‌گیری: نتایج حاکی از برخی از شکاف‌های پژوهشی در قلمرو شبکه های ایگومحور افراد و شبکه های ایگومحور استنادی هست که به لزوم بررسی شاخص های شبکه های ایگومحور، نرم‌افزارهای مورد نیاز جهت اجرای شاخص‌ها، شیوۀ دیداری سازی، اعتبارسنجی، کاربرد شاخص‌ها در حوزۀ علم‌سنجی، ارزیابی پژوهش، و سیاست علم و فناوری می‌توان اشاره کرد.

indicators of ego-centric networks: systematic review

purpose: the purpose of this study was to systematically examine dimensions and categorize the indicators of ego-centric networks in the literature to create a basis for evaluating the performance of scientific outputs or networks of peoplemethod: the current research was done with an analytical approach and a systematic review method. the steps of data search and analysis in this study were developed based on the standard guidelines of prisma. for this purpose, 23 researches related to ego network indicators from 2003 to 2023 have been presented in the core collection of science, scopus, and ieee websites after refining the results. moreover, in all three databases, restrictions on the type of documents (articles and books), period (2003 to may 22, 2023), and language (english) were applied.findings: the reviewed studies have identified three levels of ego network indicators according to structural and combined characteristics in the form of 21 indicators: ego-alter ties indicators, alter attributes indicators, and alter-alter ties. four indicators of ego-alter ties include network size, multiplexity, tie strength, and tie dispersion, which show different dimensions of relationships between the central entity (ego) and alters. the indicators related to the altered attributes in the ego network include six indicators of network composition: ego-alter similarity, heterogeneity, alter centrality, altered dispersion, and geographical dispersion. two common social sciences concepts, social capital, and social support, can be defined and calculated as a subset of the combination criterion. eleven indicators in the category of alter-alter ties include density, number, and size of components, burt’s structural hole measures (four measures of effective size, constraint, efficiency, and hierarchy are proposed to calculate this index), gould and fernandez brokerage, ego betweenness index, degree centrality, closeness centrality, alter betweenness centrality, cliques, number of isolates nodes and core-periphery. some network structural metrics are graph-based and based on graph theory. among others, we can refer to density, closeness centrality, degree centrality, alter betweenness centralization, cliques, number of isolates nodes, and core-periphery. when applied to personal networks, these metrics typically have a particular meaning and interpretation, especially if the ego is excluded. these meanings are different from their socio-centric network meaning.conclusion: several kinds of research have been conducted on ego-centric networks, each dealing with some specific number of criteria related to the characteristics of these networks, and have tried to be a basis for evaluating the performance of the networks. research gaps we identified in this field include reviewing the software required to implement the indicators and how to illustrate, validate, and apply these indicators in scientometrics, science evaluation, and technology research and policy.
