نقد کتاب «درآمدی بر مطالعه و نقش خدمات ویژۀ کتابخانه‌های عمومی در توسعۀ فرهنگ مطالعه»

نقد حاضر از دو منظر ساختاری و محتوایی نوشته شده است؛ در بخش ساختاری به بررسی مواردی مانند عنوان اثر، ویژگی‌های ظاهری مانند جلد و قطع کتاب، معرفی شخصیت علمی نویسنده، پیشگفتار و مقدمه پرداخته شده و سعی شده که ایرادهای نگارشی و تایپی نیز بررسی شود. در بخش محتوایی نیز پیشینۀ اثر، تناسب اهداف نویسنده با محتوا و عنوان، داشتن نظم منطقی و انسجام بین مطالب و ... بررسی شده است. بررسی‌ها نشان می‌دهد که نقاط ضعف کتاب بر نقاط قوت آن غالب است و نمی‌توان کتاب حاضر را کتاب علمی دقیق و تحسین‌برانگیز معرفی کرد. در بُعد ظاهری نیز اهداف روشن، تایپ خوب و نیز زبان کتاب از نقاط قوت آن است؛ اما نداشتن پشت جلد مناسب، پیشگفتار، کوتاهی مقدمه، یکسان‌نبودن فهرست مطالب و نیز نداشتن تصویر و شکل از نقاط ضعف آن است. محتوا نیز دارای نقاط قوت است؛ مانند سازگاری با فرهنگ اسلامی، داشتن نظم منطقی و انسجام مطالب، رعایت بی‌طرفی علمی، اما نقاط ضعف آن بسیار است؛ ازجمله فقدان مسئله‌مندی، نداشتن نوآوری در مقایسه با سایر آثار مشابه، نبود اثری از قلم نویسنده، فقدان تحلیل علمی نویسنده و نبود یک جمع‌بندی کلی از تمامی مطالب.

Book Review Introduction to Study and the Role of Special Services of Public Libraries in the Development of Reading Culture by Hassan Ashrafi Rizi

This review addresses the structure and the content of the book. With regard to the structure, items such as the title, features such as book cover and cut, writing style, and typographical issues are examined. Then the author is introduced and the preface of the book is commented on. With regard to the content, previous works are introduced and purpose for authoring the present book are discussed. In terms of appearance, clear goals, good typography and good language are the merits of the work. However, the back cover, the preface, the introduction, and the table of contents are not wellorganized. The strengths of the content include good order, coherence, and scientific neutrality. Weaknesses include, but not limited to the lack novelty, absence of analysis, and failing to provide descriptions for materials introduced. The review concludes that weaknesses of the work outweigh its strengths.
