عملکرد و هم‌پوشانی ابزارهای کاوش فازی و غیرفازی

هدف: شناسایی قدرت بازیابی ابزار کاوش فازی و غیرفازی و میزان هم‌پوشانی بین آنها. روش‌شناسی: این پژوهش با نمونه‌گیری طبقه‌ای تصادفی و هدفمند از میان همه ابزارهای کاوش فعال در وب انجام شده است. ابزار گردآوری داده‌ها سه سیاهه وارسی پژوهشگرساخته بوده است. یافته‌ها: ابزارهای غیرفازی متاکراولر، بینگ، و امرالد به‌ترتیب، و ابزارهای فازی گوگل، یاهو، و اسک بیشترین دقت را داشتند. در میان هر شش ابزار، گوگل قوی‌ترین و امرالد ضعیف‌ترین عملکرد را داشت. در جستجوی کلیدواژه‌ای، بینگ و متاکراولر بیشترین و در جستجوی سوالی، یاهو و متاکراولر ببیشترین هم‌پوشانی را داشتند. در جستجوی عبارتی نیز بیشترین هم‌پوشانی بین یاهو و متاکراولر مشاهده شد. در سه جستجوی سوالی، عبارتی، و کلیدواژه‌ای همه نتایج امرالد منحصر به‌فرد بود. نتیجه‌گیری: گوگل بهترین و امرالد ضعیف‌ترین عملکرد را داشتند. با اینکه متاکراولر یک ابرموتور کاوش محسوب‌ می‌شود اما نسبت به گوگل که یک موتور کاوش عمومی است ضعیف‌تر بود. در کل، ابزارهای کاوش فازی عملکرد قوی‌تری داشتند. بیشترین هم‌پوشانی نیز در میان متاکراولر با یاهو و بینگ مشاهده شد.

Retrieval Performance of Fuzzy and Nonfuzzy Search Engines and Overlap among them

Purpose: Compares the performance of fuzzy and nonfuzzy search engines and measures the overlap among them. Methodology: Search engines included were selected by accidental classified and purposeful sampling. Data was gathered using three lists based on a subject headings list, carried out in three formats including search questions, phrases, and keywords search. Findings: Meta Crawler, Bing, and Emerald showed the highest rate of precision among the nonfuzzy search engines respectively, while Google, Yahoo and ASK obtained the showed the highest level of precision among the fuzzy ones respectively. With regard to keyword searching, Bing and Meta Crawler showed the highest level of overlap, while Yahoo and Meta Crawler had the highest level of overlap in question searching. With regards to phrase searching, the most overlap was between Yahoo and Meta Crawler. Emerald results were had no overlap with the other five search engines in the three types of queries. This could be seen as its poor performance. Conclusion: Overall performance of fuzzy search engines was better. Except for Emerald, other search engines showed considerable levels of overlap.
