رسالت ایران‌شناسی: دولت – ملت ایرانی یا جهان ایرانی (شکل‌گیری دانش ایران‌شناسی ایرانی در اواخر قرن نوزدهم و اوایل قرن بیستم میلادی)

جهان ایرانی در برگیرندۀ مجموعه ای از اقوام، آداب و رسوم، ادبیات و تاریخ است که گسترۀ جغرافیایی وسیعی را در بر می گیرد. از قرن هجدهم با حضور استعمارگران غربی در شرق، این پهنه نیز تحت تاثیر تغییرات بنیادی در فرهنگ آن قرار گرفت در نتیجه خودآگاهی فرهنگی میان ملل مختلف جهان ایرانی با هویت ملی پیوند یافت. از این رو اندیشمندان ایرانی اگرچه از بایگانی شرق شناسی وام گرفتند ولی در انتخاب گزاره های خود متاثر از وقایع جامعۀ خویش بودند. در این پژوهش با کمک روش دیرینه شناسی روند شکل گیری دانش ایران شناسی بررسی می شود. نتایج تحقیق نشان داد: دانش ایران شناسی اگرچه خودآگاهی فرهنگی ایرانیان را با کمک ابزارهایی مانند انتشارات و آموزش تقویت کرد ولی با پرداختن به موضوع شناخت ایران ملی، فرهنگ را در راستای ملیت به کار گرفت و ایرانیان در قرن بیستم تاریخ مشترک و زبان فارسی را در راستای هویت ملی بازتولید کردند.

The duty of Iranology: Iranian nation - state or the Iranian world (the formation of Iranology in the late 19th and early 20th century)

In East nationalism is known as a movement against imperialism and for self protection. This movement influences the Iranian World – the World which had one cultural and political literature at least in urban societies and elites – and ties the concept of nation to concepts like race, language, territory and history.For nation building, the Iranian World intellectuals uses new European scientific methods and knowledge. They find it more appropriate for their nationstates’ benefits. Applying new methods developed a new scientific literature that emerged the knowledge of Iranology.This article is used the archaeology of knowledge to study the texts, which introduced Iranian Studies at its early emergence. The hypothesis is even Iranology discourse in Iran is impressed by Orientalism archives, it is affected by the Iranian World’s political and social context. So Iranology appears when Iranian society interacts with modern changes in Iranian World and needs an Iranian identity. Then Iranology actuate Iranian cultural identity to a national cultural identity.
