بازتاب نظام آموزشی آمریکا در اندیشه ایرانیان دوره قاجاریه و نتایج آن (با تکیه بر مطبوعات دوره قاجار)

مقاله حاضر به یکی از بزرگترین آمال و اهداف اصلاح طلبان و متجددین ایرانی دوره قاجار یعنی تحول در نظام آموزشی کشور با الگو برداری از نظام آموزشی آمریکا می‌پردازد. اگرچه تا مدتها اعزام دانشجو به کشورهای اروپایی مورد توجه قرار داشت ولی در دهه های پایانی عصر قاجاریه روشنفکران و مطبوعات این دوره به شرح نظام آموزشی آمریکا و برتری های آن نسبت به کشورهای اروپایی پرداختند. پژوهش حاضر با تکیه بر مطبوعات عصرقاجاریه، اسناد منتشرنشده‌ وزارت امور خارجه و مرکز اسناد ملی ایران، با روش توصیفی تحلیلی به  روند شناخت ایرانیان از نظام آموزشی آمریکا و تاثیرات آن بر ایران عصر قاجاریه پرداخته است و نشان می دهد در نتیجه فعالیت مدارس میسیونری آمریکایی و همچنین تبلیغات و تلاش های مطبوعات قاجاریه و همچنین عواملی چون انجمن ملی ایران و آمریکا و بالاخص تلاش های دیپلمات های برجسته ایران در آمریکا، حکومت قاجاریه متقاعد به الگوپذیری از نظام آموزشی و تربیتی آمریکا شد و در این راستا نخستین گام ها را که همانا اعزام دانشجو به آن کشور بود، برداشت و در فاصله زمانی مشروطه تا انقراض قاجاریه شمار قابل توجهی دانشجوی ایرانی تحصیلات خود را در آمریکا به پایان رساندند و به ایران بازگشتند.

Reflection of the American educational system on Iranian thought of Qajar era and its results

One of the greatest aspirations of reformers and Iranian modernists was to transform the country’s educational system. In fact, sending students to European countries and paying attention to their educational systems was in line with these goals. In the late decades of the Qajar era, the press described the American educational system and its advantages over European countries. present study is based on descriptiveanalytical method and relying on the Press of Qajar era, unpublished documents of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Documentation Center of Iran, for the first time examines the impact of the American educational system on Iran in the Qajar era and shows As a result of the propaganda and efforts of the Qajar press, as well as factors such as the National IranianAmerican Association, and in particular the efforts of prominent Iranian diplomats in the United States, the Qajar government has been persuaded to model the American educational system, taking the first steps, which were to send students to the that country, and Between the time of the constitution and the extinction of the Qajar, a large number of Iranian graduates returned to the United States, providing comprehensive development opportunities.
