بازی و سرگرمی کودکان در ایران (1320-1285ش.)

سالهای حد فاصل مشروطه تا پایان دوره رضا شاه (1285-1320 ش.) به تبع تحول ذهنی سالهای پیش از آن، دوره تظاهر مادی مدرنیته در سراسر ایران بود. در پیامد این امر جامعه ایرانی نه تنها محمل ذهنیت جدیدی از مفهوم کودکی که پذیرای تعریف نوینی از بازی های کودکانه و انواع آن گردید. در این مقاله برآنیم تا به این پرسش پاسخ گوئیم که جامعه ایرانی در این دوره چه درک و دریافتی از بازی های کودکانه داشت و این ذهنیت عمومی تحت تاثیر چه علل و عواملی تجدّد و تحّولیافت؟حاصل این پژوهش آن است که جامعه ایرانی از تعریف بازی به مثابه ابزاری برای سرگرمی به تعریف جدیدی رسید که در آن از بازی ها و سرگرمی ها برای تربیت صحیح کودکان در خانه، کودکستان و مدرسه استفاده می گردید. علاوه بر این همانگونه که همه کودکان ایرانی به آموزش جدید دسترسی نداشتند بهره مندی از بازی ها و سرگرمی های جدید هم محدود به طبقات و اقشار بالای جامعه بود.

Children’s Games and Entertainments in Iran (12851320)

The period of time ranging from the Constitutionalism to the end of Reza Shah Era(12851320) represents the emergence of materialistic modernity in Iran, caused by intellectual transformations preceding that. Consequently, the Iranian society experienced a new definition of and attitude towards childhood and various types of children games. The present paper seeks to investigatethe Iranians'perception of children games and the factor(s) that renewed and transformed this public mindset. The findings reveal that the Iranian society perception of games as forms of entertainment underwent transformation as games and entertainment began to be seen as means of educating children properly at home, kindergarten, and school. Moreover, as all Iranian children did not have access to modern education, new games and entertainment were restricted to higher levels of the society.
