چالش های ارتباطی والد - نوجوان در خانواده های مسلمان ایرانی مقیم آمریکا از نگاه والدین

زمینه: اختلافات والد-نوجوان بخشی اجتناب ناپذیر از دوران نوجوانی است. هر چند که تعلق به نسل های متفاوت در هر خانواده ای، ناگریز فاصله ای میان نسل ها ایجاد می کند، اما در خانواده های مهاجر، دشواری گذار از تعارضات دوران نوجوانی، با چالش های رایج بعد از مهاجرت در می آمیزد و تنش هایی را در ارتباط والدین و نوجوان برمی انگیزد. اهمیت موضوع ارتباط والد نوجوان در خانواده های مهاجر، سبب شده است پژوهش های بسیاری در این زمینه با محوریت گروه های پرجمعیت مهاجران انجام پذیرد، اما پژوهشی که بررسی چالش های ارتباطی والد نوجوان بپردازد مغفول واقع شده است. هدف: چالش های ارتباطی والد نوجوان در خانواده های مسلمان ایرانی مقیم آمریکا از نگاه والدین بود.روش: پژوهش از نوع کیفی با روش پدیدارشناسی بود. جامعه آماری شامل خانواده های مسلمان ایرانی مقیم آمریکا بود که 15 نفر از پدران و مادران به روش نمونه گیری گلوله برفی به عنوان نمونه انتخاب شدند. ابزار پژوهش مصاحبه ی عمیق نیمه ساختاریافته بود. تحلیل داده ها با روش هفت مرحله ای کلایزی انجام شد. یافته ها: مولفه های چالش های ارتباطی والد نوجوان در خانواده های مسلمان ایرانی مقیم آمریکا از نگاه والدین عبارتند از: تفاوت های فرهنگی، شکاف نسلی زمانی و مکانی و عدم آشنایی کافی والدین مهاجر با محیط مدارس و گروه همسالان فرزندان بود. نتیجه گیری: تفاوت های فرهنگی، شکاف نسلی زمانی و مکانی و عدم آشنایی کافی والدین مهاجر با محیط مدارس و گروه همسالان فرزندان می تواند عملکرد خانواده ی مهاجر را به خطر انداخته و دشواری های ارتباطی میان والدین و نوجوان ایجاد کند.

Parent - adolescent communication challenges in iranian muslim families residing in the US from parents' perspective

Background: Parentadolescent disputes are an inevitable part of adolescence. Although belonging to different generations in each family inevitably creates a gap between generations, in immigrant families, the difficulty of transitioning from adolescent conflict to the common challenges after migration Interferes and raises tensions between parents and adolescents. The importance of parentadolescent communication in immigrant families has led to much research focusing on largescale immigrant groups, but research on the challenges of parentadolescent communication has been neglected. Aims: Parentadolescent communication challenges in Iranian Muslim families residing in the United States were viewed as parental. Method: The research method was qualitative with phenomenological method. Statistical population consisted of Iranian Muslim families residing in the USA. Five parents were selected by snowball sampling method. The research tool was semistructured indepth interview. Data analysis was performed using the sevenstage method of Colaizzi. Results: The components of parentadolescent communication challenges in Iranian Muslim families residing in the United States from parents' perspective are: cultural differences, temporal and spatial generation gap, and insufficient familiarity of immigrant parents with school environment and peer group. They were children for three years. Conclusions: Cultural differences, temporal and spatial generation gap, and insufficient familiarity of immigrant parents with school environment and peer group of children can jeopardize immigrant family functioning and create communication difficulties between parents and adolescents.
