comparing personality characteristics and impulsivity in smokers and non-smokers dormitory male students

Introduction: impulsivity, especially in smoker’s students, is one of the psychological factors for future high-risk behaviors. this study was performed to compare impulsivity and personality characteristics of smokers and non-smokers male students who live in a dormitory. materials and methods: the study population of this causal-comparative study consists of all razi university male students of kermanshah city who live in a dormitory and studying in the second semester of the academic year 2015-2016. the students were selected through a convenient method (400 smokers and 200 non-smokers). research instrument included cloninger personality inventory (tci), barratt impulsivity scale (bis-11), modified fagerstrom tolerance questionnaire (mftq), and balloon analogue risk (bart). data were analyzed by spss software version 22, using descriptive statistics and discriminant analysis test. results: the research findings indicated that smokers with high and low dependency and non-smokers in components of motor impulsivity, reward dependence, indecision, and novelty-seeking are significantly different (p<0.05). conclusion: based on the findings, it seems that factors such as motor impulsivity, reward dependence, indecision, and novelty seeking can discriminate among low and high-dependent smokers and non-smokers.

مقایسه ویژگی های شخصیتی و تکانشگری دانشجویان مرد سیگاری و غیرسیگاری خوابگاهی

مقدمه:تکانشگری خصوصاً در دانشجویان سیگاری، یکی از مولفه های روانشناختی برای برای رقتارهای پرخطر در آینده است.        پژوهش حاضر با هدف مقایسه تکانشگری و ویژگی های شخصیتی دانشجویان سیگاری و غیر سیگاری انجام شد.روش کار: این پژوهش، توصیفی از نوع علی مقایسه ای بود. جامعه آماری شامل کلیه دانشجویان مرد ساکن در خوابگاه های دانشگاه رازی مشغول به تحصیل در نیمسال دوم سال تحصیلی13951394 بود. برای انتخاب نمونه از نمونه گیری در دسترس استفاده شد و نمونه ای به حجم 600 نفر انتخاب گردید (400 نفر از دانشجویان به عنوان افراد سیگاری و 200 نفر غیر سیگاری در نظر گرفته شدند).رضایت آگاهانه برای انجام پژوهش از  شرکت کنندگان اخذ شد.پیشنهاده و پایان نامه جهت انجام در گروه روانشناسی دانشگاه رازی کرمانشاه تایید شده است. برای گردآوری داده ها از پرسشنامه شخصیتی کلونینجر (پرسشنامه سرشت و منش TCI)، مقیاس تکانشگری بارات  (BIS11)، پرسشنامه تحمل تعدیل شده فاگرسترام (mFTQ) و آزمون خطرپذیری بادکنکی (لجویز  و همکاران، 2003) استفاده شد. تحلیل داده ها از طریق آمار توصیفی و آزمون‌ تحلیل ممیز و نیز با کمک نرم افزار22  SPSS انجام شد.یافته ها: یافته ها نشان داد که افراد سیگاری با وابستگی بالا و پایین و افـراد غیرسـیگاری در مولفه های تکانشگری حرکتی و وابستگی به پاداش و همچنین در بی تصمیمی و نوجویی به طور معنی داری در سطح 05/0>P با یکدیگر متفاوتند.نتیجه گیری: بنابراین میتوان از طریق مولفه هایی چون تکانشگری حرکتی، وابستگی به پاداش، بی تصمیمی و نوجویی بین افراد سیگاری با وابستگی کم و زیاد و افراد غیرسیگاری تمایز قائل شد.
