   MANAGER’S ATTRIBUTES, SOCIAL SUPPORT AND RELIGIOSITY ON ISLAMIC CORPORATE ACCOUNTABILITY

چکیده    This study aims to examine muslim managers’ attitude, social support, and religiosity on the islamic corporate accountability construct. a structured questionnaire was developed using previous literature and tested. a total of 149 usable questionnaires were analyzed using pls. the attitude construct which comprise of transparency, humility, trustworthy and justice significantly contribute to the islamic corporate accountability construct. however, social support and religiosity have insignificant role on the dependent variable. the findings of this study are useful in establishing a starting point for empirically exploring the attributes of muslim manager that influence their accountability as muslim leader in an organization. the findings of this study may be attributable to the managers of organization in private sector, which are concentrated in terms of the behaviors of leaders that influence their action to be accountable in managing the organization and also to their fellow-beings. each and every one of us must be a role model on good attitude or akhlak for our children and younger generations to build a better nation because our future and hope now lies in the hands of our youths. this study enhances the understanding on the concept of corporate accountability from the conventional and islamic perspectives.
