بدایه‌ای که بدایه نیست: آسیب‌شناسی کتاب بدایه الحکمه به‌مثابه متن آموزش فلسفه اسلامی

اکثر صاحب نظران، مدرسان و حتی دانشجویان فلسفه معتقدند که نظام آموزشی دانشگاه در رشته فلسفه اسلامی، ناکارآمد و دافعه آن بیش از جاذبه آن است. این وضعیت نامطلوب، معلول علل متعددی است که متن آموزشی یکی از مهم‌ترین این مولفه‌هاست. هدف این نوشتار بررسی آسیب‌شناسانه کتاب بدایهالحکمه  اصلی‌ترین کتاب آموزشی در مقطع کارشناسی رشته فلسفه اسلامی  است که علامه محمدحسین طباطبایی به سال 1390 ﻫ.ق آن را نگاشته است. این کتاب منبع رایج و اصلی برای 24 واحد در رشته فلسفه اسلامی است و گرچه اکثر استادان فلسفه ضمن اذعان به ویژگی‌های مثبت این اثر، آن را یک متن آموزشی مناسب نمی‌دانند، به نظر می‌رسد مقام علمی نویسنده  و البته نبود منبع مناسب دیگر  سبب شده است که تاکنون نوشتار مستقل و مفصلی درباره نقص‌های آموزش این کتاب ارائه نشود. درواقع، گرچه کتاب بدایهالحکمه به‌لحاظ آموزشی نقاط قوت و مثبتی دارد، اما نقاط ضعف و نقص‌های آن به‌قدری جدی و مهم است که به‌طور قطع می‌توان مدعی شد کتاب فاقد ویژگی‌های لازم منبعی برای آموزش فلسفه اسلامی است و تاثیرات منفی آن در آموزش فلسفه از فواید آن بیشتر است. در این مقاله، ضمن معرفی اجمالی کتاب مورد نظر و ارائه نقاط مثبت آن، به‌تفصیل، نقص‌ها و ضعف‌های آن بررسی شده است.

An introductory book that is not an introductory,a pathological review of The Elements of Islamic Metaphysics (Bidayat al-Hikmah) as a textbook for teaching Islamic philosophy

Most scholars, teachers and students of philosophy believe that the university educational program in the field of Islamic philosophy is dysfunctional so that its repulsion is greater than its fascination. This situation is due to several causes and among them, textbook is one of the most important causes. ‎The purpose of this article is to pathologically review the book Bidayat alHikmah, written by Allameh Mohammad Hossein Tabatabai (1970) as the most popular textbook in the undergraduate course of Islamic philosophy. This book is a common and main source for 24 units in the field of Islamic philosophy. Although professors of philosophy mostly acknowledge the positive features of this work, they believe that it is not an appropriate textbook. Seemingly the academic status of its writer – as well as the absence of a proper alternative source ‎–‎ were factors that have caused it receive no independent and detailed review so far. In fact, although the book Badayat alHikma has educational strengths, its weaknesses are so important that it can be said with certainty that it lacks the necessary features as a source for teaching Islamic philosophy; and its negative effects on teaching philosophy outweigh its benefits. This article, while briefly introducing the book and presenting its strengths, examines in detail its shortcomings and weaknesses.
