چرخش از بدن به‌مثابه امر الهیاتی به‌سوی رویکرد فرهنگی - اجتماعی

خوانش فرهنگی  اجتماعی یکی از مهم‌ترین رویکردهای تاریخ فرهنگی است که در کتاب درآمدی بر تاریخ فرهنگی بدن در ایران، نوشته محمد سعید ذکایی و مریم امین (1392)،  برجسته شده است. در این نوشتار، بررسی روش‌شناسی و محتوای متن اثر یادشده با این پرسش آغاز می‌شود که بهره‌گیری از رویکرد گفتمانی در تاریخ فرهنگی بدن چه تاثیری در نگاه مولفان کتاب و خوانش آنان از منابع و رخدادهای تاریخ ایران داشته و نقاط قوت و ضعف آن کدام است؟ با به‌کارگیری رویکرد انتقادی و تحلیل تاریخی می‌توان دستاورد بحث را در تلاش برای صورت‌بندی جدیدی از تاریخ ایران، ارائه تفسیری متفاوت از فهم تاریخ، برجسته‌سازی رویکرد جامعه‌شناختی و مطالعات فرهنگی بدن، تفسیر پوشش به‌مثابه امر فرهنگی، سیاسی و دینی، بهره‌گیری از منابع ادبی و مصوّر با هدف تقویت رویکرد تاریخ اجتماعی  فرهنگی برشمرد. امّا غلبه نگاه تعمیمی و نظریه‌محور باعث شده است که به شواهد تاریخی متنوع ناقض ادعای مولفان اثر توجه نشود و دلایل تاریخی متعددی را مطرح کرد که استنتاج آنان را با چالش مواجه سازد. از سوی دیگر، تقسیم‌بندی‌های چهارگانه ادوار تاریخی ایران به عصر امپراتوری، عصر مشروطیت، عصر مدرنیته، و دین در فصول کتاب دارای اشکال جدّی است و با مسئله دوره‌بندی در تاریخ فرهنگی بدن تجانس ندارند؛ محتوای سه فصل نهایی نیز براساس ساختار مشابهی تحلیل شده و از منابع دست اول کمتر استفاده گردیده است.

The rotation of the body as a theological mattertowards a socio-cultural approach(A study on the Cultural History of the Body in Iran)

Sociocultural reading that is one of the most important approaches to cultural history is highlighted in the book An introduction to the cultural history of the body in Iran. In this article, a review of the methodology and content of the text begins with this question: What effect can the use of discourse approach in the cultural history of the body have on the view of the authors of the book and their reading of the sources and events of Iranian history, and what are the strengths and weaknesses of this approach? Using a critical approach and historical analysis, the achievement of the discussion can be described as follows: Introducing a new formulation for Iranian history, presenting a different interpretation of understanding history, highlighting the sociological approach and cultural studies of the body, interpreting clothing as a culturalpoliticalreligious matter, and using literary and illustrated sources with the aim of strengthening the sociocultural history approach. However, the dominance of the generalized and theorybased view has caused the various historical evidences that contradict the authors’ claims being ignored, and several historical facts can be presented that challenge the authors’ inference. On the other hand, the division of the historical periods of Iran into four eras (the era of empire, the era of constitutionalism, the era of modernity, and the era of religion) in different chapters of the book caused serious problems and cannot be consistent with the issue of periodization in the cultural history of the body. Also, the content of the last three chapters has been analyzed based on a similar structure, and reference to firsthand sources has received less attention.
