زبان خصوصی در تحلیل داده‌های رابطه‌ای در پژوهشهای رفاه اجتماعی

مقدمه: تشخیص و تصحیح خطا در علم اهمیتی بنیادین دارد و به این اصل اساسی منجر شده است که علم خود-اصلاح‌گر است. خطا ذاتیِ انسان است، با این حال در پژوهش، اگر خطا راه یابد، علم از جریان اساسی آن دور می‌گردد. در مرور انتقادی حاضر مولف به طور خاص به پژوهش‌های رابطه‌ای و خطاهای آن پرداخته است که عمدتاً از کاربرد ناصحیح زبان ناشی می‌شوند. گفتگوی مشهور هامپتی دامپتی و آلیس در کتاب «آلیس آن سوی آینه»، اثر لوئیس کارول، به زبان خصوصی مربوط می‌شود. هامپتی دامپتی می‌گوید وقتی کلمه‌ای را به کار می‌برم، معنی، آن است که در ذهن خود دارم. هم چنین با ارجاع به تمثیل ترجمه از زبان چینی جان سرل، تلاش شده، نشان داده ‌شود که چه خطاهای زیادی بر اثر نفهمیدن کاربرد زبانِ نرم‌افزارهای آماری به پژوهش‌ها راه یافته است. در این مرور انتقادی به کاربرد خطا در زبان و عملیات نادرست آماری و تفسیرهای دلبخواه از آمار در پژوهش‌های چاپ شده در مجله رفاه اجتماعی پرداخته می‌شود. به خطاهای بسیار بزرگتری که سبب ری‌تراکت شدن مقاله می‌شود اشاره شده است و برخی از مقاله‌هائی که شایسته ری‌تراکت شدن هستند. همه این خطاها در سیزده عنوان دسته‌بندی و معرفی شده‌اند. خطاهای تحلیل رابطه‌ای در مجله رفاه اجتماعی در بیست دسته اساسی تقسیم شده است. بخصوص مفهوم جدید تحلیل متغیر سوم (میانجی، تعدیلگر، همرس، فرونشان و مخدوش‌کننده) بررسی و نشان داده شده است که پیشینه این پژوهش‌ها با زبان خصوصی چگونه رابطه‌ای نادرست را تحلیل می‌کنند. در پایان‌ چهار پژوهش با طرح قوی را در قالب میانجی و تعدیلگر شناسایی و معرفی شده‌اند. بحث: در بسیاری از موارد در پژوهش‌های رابطه‌ای پژوهشگران از زاویه خاصی روابط را تفسیر کرده‌اند که نادرست است. آنها دلایلی برای مفهوم‌ بخشیدن به تحقیق خود ارائه کرده‌اند که ناشی از ناآگاهی آنها به قوانین آمار است. در این بخش خطوط راهنما برای نویسندگان مقاله و داوران مجله ترسیم شده است.

private language in correlational data in social welfare research

introduction: identifying and correcting errors is essential to science, and it reminds the famous quote that science is self-correcting. while making mistakes was regarded as humane and was accepted in in philosophy of science, it especially gave rise to a glorious dictum which states “scientific hypothesis must have the chance to falsify”. in the current paper, the author pointed to errors in correlational studies,that may occur due to misusing of language. the author first mentioned the famous dialogue between humpty dumpty and alice in the lewis carrol seminal work, alice in wonderland.the private language that wittgenstein introduced in his book “tractaus” corresponded to humpty dumpty’s claim that “when i use a word it means just what i choose it to mean – neither more nor less”. the author considerserrors in statistical analysis and sometimes faulty analyticchoices. it is like john searl chinese man that produce instructions to translate without understanding them. almost all of these arguments were produced because of weak language for arguments and misunderstanding of statistical methods in correlational studies.method: critical review of articles essentially in observational research conclude thirteen texts in the field of social welfare. in particular, the new concept of third variable analysis (mediator, moderator, suppressor and confounder) has been investigated and it has been shown that the background of these research studies analyzes a wrong relationship with private languageresults: in the end, four studies with a strong design have been identified and introduced in the form of mediators and moderators.discussion: in many cases in correlational research, researchers have interpreted correlations from a certain angle, which is incorrect. they have given reasons to make sense of their research, which is due to their ignorance of the rules of statistics. in this section, guidelines are drawn for article authors and journal reviewers.
