   Theoretical Investigation of Electroluminescent Material Based on Oligothiophenes and 7-Azaindole Groups

چکیده    Oligothiophenes provide interesting models for understanding structural and electronic peculiarities which control the charge transport and optical properties in polythiophene. we report in this paper, a theoretical study of novel luminescent compounds: (7-azaindolyl) oligothiophenes; we shall first investigate theoretically the effect of the number of thiophene ring on the structural and opto-electronic properties of these compounds. then, we shall try to decrease the band gap of a chosen model of the investigated compounds by bridging by c=c(cn)2 between the two central thiophene rings.
