چکیده    In this work the effectof various electrochemical .media on the flotation of galena was examined. the electrochemical.media consisted of a ball mill for grinding galena ore and. a denverflotation cell for flotation of galena.. in order to 'reach the maximum recovery of sodium hyposulfite, concentrations of p:.06 and 0.12 m of nitrogen and air gases have been.used to control the pulp potential in the denver flotation cell. the sample of galena is from:era mine' of kiyasarin iran, which contairrs.galena mineral at an estimated concentrationofat least22%, 73.37%, florin (cayz)2.54%,quartz (sio2) and other minerals like cerussite(pbco) and kaolinite (alzsizo,(oh),) in low quantities. the processing and flotation ofgalena are in 12°a, sodium hyposulfite solution. the amount of recovery in this 'solution in the presence and absence of potassium amyl xanthate (kax) ·at.an estimated potential of 280 to 350 111v is 850/0 and 63%, respectively, however, this amount of galena recovery is700a) and, 52cx) at an approximate patential of 175. to 2 10 t11v in water in the presence andabsence of collector k. a. x.
