In this work, kinetic and tncrpholcgy of high temperature hot corrosion of rene 80 super alloy was studied using weight change curves;sem, edax and x-ray phase analysis. aftersample preparations and coating by na2s0 4, the test was carried out at 800, 850, 900 and950°c results show at 800 and 850°c, hot corrosion ofrene 80 superalloy follow paraboliclaw and the propagation stage does not occur. most destroying attack by hot corrosion forrene 80 supcralloy is experienced at 900°c and the specimen is destroyed in 3 cycles. thehot corrosion products of the rene 80superalloy consisted of 3 layers of compact nio,porous nio and a mixtureofnio+nis. the results are well correlated with a well-knownmodel.
