   Kinetic and Morphological Study of Hot Corrosion of Rene 80 Nickel Based Super Alloy

چکیده    In this work, kinetic and tncrpholcgy of high temperature hot corrosion of rene 80 super alloy was studied using weight change curves;sem, edax and x-ray phase analysis. aftersample preparations and coating by na2s0 4, the test was carried out at 800, 850, 900 and950°c results show at 800 and 850°c, hot corrosion ofrene 80 superalloy follow paraboliclaw and the propagation stage does not occur. most destroying attack by hot corrosion forrene 80 supcralloy is experienced at 900°c and the specimen is destroyed in 3 cycles. thehot corrosion products of the rene 80superalloy consisted of 3 layers of compact nio,porous nio and a mixtureofnio+nis. the results are well correlated with a well-knownmodel.
