چکیده    Multi-walled carbon nanotubes (mwcnts) have been synthesized in high yields by are discharge using a mixture of (fes/co) and (fes/ni) powders in a helium atmosphere. these results were monitored using scanning electron microscopy (sem), which showed that theyield of mwcnts with fes/co is much higher than that obtained with feslni. raman spectroscopy was used to characterize the mwcnts. the ratio of intensity of the graphitic mode to the defect mode (ig/in) shows that the quality and crystallinity of mwcnts, which were synthesized using feslni catalysts is higher than those produced from fes/co.
