   Synthesis of Fe203Nano Particles by Spontaneous Autocatalytic Reduction Method

چکیده    Synthesis of iron oxide nano particles with various grain sizes has been achieved by spontaneous autocatalytic reduction in alcohol-water solution at room temperature. it was found that concentration of naoh, hydrazine catalyst plays a critical role in the formation of resultant particles in pure phase. investigations of different species revealed that, a complete and uniform composite without impurities can be obtained at a ph value of 12.5 which was supported by ftir spectra analysis. the phase structures and morphologies ofthe fe203 composite have been carried out using x- ray diffraction (xrd) and scanning electron microscopy (sem). data analysis of crystallography parameters indicates that nano particles were pure fe203 crystalline with bee structure. their average diameter sizes were 6.3-15 nm, where nano particle sizes increase with increase in temperature of the solution from 25°c to .·175°c. also, sem images of the samples showed spherical shaped iron nanocrystalline particles without aggregation were present only at ph =12.5.
