نقد نظریه تاریخ نگاری فریدون آدمیت دربارۀ نهضت مشروطه

مشروطیّت، یکی از مهم ترین حوادث تاریخ ایران است. بستری برای ایجاد شکافی عظیم، میان مناسبات سیاسی و اجتماعی ایران؛ اگرچه این جنبش، پس از طی کردن فراز و نشیب های بسیاری، از اهداف اولیه خود فاصله گرفت. به دلیل اهمّیّت بالای این برهه از تاریخ، نظر مورّخان و تحلیل‌گران بسیاری به‌سمت جنبش مشروطه جلب شده‌است. در بین مهم ترین تحلیل گران این دوره، فریدون آدمیت دارای جایگاه ویژه ای است. در این مقاله ضمن بررسی نگاه انتقادی فریدون آدمیت به جنبش مشروطه، اندیشه‌ها و دیدگاه های او را در آثارش نشان داده می‌شود. عوامل و دلایل شکل‌گیری جنبش مشروطه و مسیر حرکت را از دیدگاه او، مورد بررسی و تلیل قرار خواهد گرفت. هم‌چنین در اظهارنظرهای وی دربارۀ وقایع مختلف به جست وجوی مشرب فکری و جهت‌گیری‌های سیاسی اش نیزپرداخته می شود تا بتوان نقد وی دربارۀ جنبش مشروطه را بهتر ارائه‌داده و ابعاد آن تبیین شود. آثار آدمیت، معمولاً کمتر مورد نقد و بررسی قرار گرفته اند و بیشتر، به جهت تحلیل های جامع وی، تحسین و تشویق شده اند. ضرورت ایجاب می کرد پژوهشی با محوریّت آثار آدمیت، به نقد اندیشۀ او و تاریخ‌نگاری وی انجام شود.

The Historiography of Fereydoun Adamiyat and the Constitutional Revolution

The constitutional revolution was one of the hallmarks of the Iranian modern history and led to a series of groundbreaking changes in the social and political structure of this country; even though, after many ups and downs, this movement eventually distanced itself from its main objectives. The importance of this period has caused many historians and researchers to participate in defining its complications, but among them, Fereydoun Adamiyat has been recognized as one of the first and best. In this paper, we review his works and thoughts with a critical approach and go through the circumstances in which the constitutional revolution formed and evolved according to his historiography. At the same time, his political views and way of thinking and his social background, upbringing, and education are taken into account in order to better understand his stance regarding the constitutional events and their participants. Adamiyat’s works have more been praised for their comprehensive analysis, rather than criticized, so it seems necessary to write this paper with the aforesaid specific intention.
