کشف پیامدهای یک رذیله در علم اخلاق و در حوزۀ مطالعۀ گرایش‌های  انسان، به فرد انگیزه می‌بخشد تا آن رذیله را رفع کند.گرایش ها مجموعه عواطف و احساساتی هستند که نوع تفکر و بینش انسان بر آن‌ها تاثیر دارد. یکی از گرایش‌های موثر بر شخصیت انسان که پیامدهای تخریبی اخلاقی برای او دارد، دنیاگرایی است؛ لذا در نوشتار حاضر سعی شده است با روش توصیفی تحلیلی، پیامدهای گرایشی دنیاگرایی تبیین و تشریح شود. آثار روانی خودخواسته از جمله خداگریزی، خودشیفتگی، آرزومداری، راحت‌طلبی، مال‌اندوزی (که شامل بخل و حرص و ولع می‌شود)، خودبزرگ‌بینی و امید و آرامش کاذب، و آثار روانی ناخواسته شامل ناامیدی و ترس و اضطراب، از جمله پیامدهای گرایشی دنیاگرایان است.

discovering the consequences of a vice in the science of ethics and in the field of studying human tendencies can help motivate its improvement in human beings. tendencies are a set of emotions and feelings that are affected by the type of human thinking and vision. one of the influential tendencies on human personality that has destructive moral consequences for her is worldliness. therefore, in the present article, an attempt has been made to explain the consequences of worldliness with a descriptiveanalytical method. voluntary psychological effects on secularists such as apostasy, narcissism, aspiration, comfort seeking, amassing wealth which includes avarice and greed, as well as arrogance, false hope and peace of mind and unwanted psychological effects that include despair, hopelessness, fear and anxiety. it is one of the consequences of worldliness.
