با ظهور فناوری های اطلاعاتی و ارتباطاتی و گسترش اینترنت و شبکه های اجتماعی، کنشگری روحانیت شیعه وارد صحنۀ جدیدی به‌نام کنشگری مجازی شده است. کنشگری مجازی در بستر فضای مجازی و شبکه های اجتماعی، بین کنشگر و مخاطب صورت می گیرد. به هرگونه فعالیت روحانیون که با هدف رساندن پیام دین به مخاطبان در بستر شبکه های اجتماعی انجام می شود، کنشگریروحانیت در شبکه های اجتماعی اطلاق می گردد. کنشگری روحانیت در شبکه های اجتماعی، عملی بی‌قیدوشرط نیست، بلکه نیازمند اصول و آیین نامۀ اخلاقی است. این نوشتار به دنبال آن است که مهم‌ترین مصادیق اجرایی اصول اخلاقی را به‌عنوان کدهای اخلاقی در کنشگری روحانیت در شبکه های اجتماعی شناسایی و بررسی کند. این تحقیق از نوع تحقیقات نظری و اسنادی است و از نظر روش گردآوری و تحلیل اطلاعات، کیفی محسوب می‌شود. اطلاعات تحقیق با روش استقرا و مشاهدۀ کنشگران جمع‌آوری و با کمک منابع اسنادی تفسیر شده‌اند.
