   بررسی دیدگاه پرستاران در خصوص کیفیت مرگ و میر در بخش‌های مراقبت ویژه بیمارستان‌های وابسته به دانشگاه علوم پزشکی تهران سال1401: یک مطالعه مقطعی

چکیده    زمینه و هدف: اندیشیدن به مرگ یک عنصر شناختی از فعالیت انسان است که بر فرد در حال مرگ و همچنین افرادی که از آن شخص مراقبت می‌کنند به ویژه پرستاران، تاثیر می‌گذارد. با توجه به اینکه تعداد مرگ و میر در بخش‌های مراقبت‌های ویژه بسیار بالاست، مطالعه حاضر بر آن است تا به تعیین دیدگاه پرستاران شاغل در بخش مراقبت ویژه در خصوص کیفیت مرگ و مردن بیماران این بخش بپردازد.روش‌ها: مطالعه توصیفی- مقطعی حاضر در سال 1401 در بیمارستان‌های وابسته به دانشگاه علوم پزشکی تهران انجام شد. نمونه پژوهش 176 پرستار شاغل در بخش‌های مراقبت ویژه بستری در بیمارستان‌های وابسته به دانشگاه علوم پزشکی تهران بوده که به صورت در دسترس و نمونه‌گیری طبقه‌ای غیر تصادفی وارد مطالعه حاضر شدند. داده‌ها با کمک چک لیست اطلاعات جمعیت‌شناختی، پرسشنامه کیفیت مرگ و مردن (qodd) چو و همکاران (2017) نسخه 2و3 جمع‌آوری شدند. یافته‌ها: در بررسی ارزیابی کیفیت مرگ و مردن و هر سه مولفه آن (تجربه بیمار در پایان زندگی، مراقبت پزشکی در ساعات مرگ و کیفیت تجربه در لحظه مرگ) از نمره میانگین، پایین‌تر هستند. بنابراین از دیدگاه پرستاران کیفیت مرگ و مردن و ابعاد آن در حد پایین‌تر از متوسط است. در خصوص مشخصات جمعیت‌شناختی (جنسیت و تاهل)، در مورد میزان کیفیت مرگ و میر بیماران غیر قابل درمان در بخش‌های ویژه بیمارستان‌های وابسته به دانشگاه تهران تفاوت معناداری وجود نداشت. اما در خصوص تحصیلات پرستاران و آموزش اخذ شده با کیفیت مرگ و مردن تفاوت معنادار آماری وجود داشت (0/05>p).نتیجه‌گیری: با شناخت از درک پرستاران نسبت به کیفیت مرگ و مردن در بخش مراقبت ویژه می‌توان در این خصوص برنامه‌ریزی کرد و با ایجاد تدابیر و اقدامات حمایتی به حفظ کرامت انسانی بیماران در حال احتضار و آرامش خانواده آنها کمک کرد و به آنها این اطمینان را داد که با حفظ کرامت انسانی بیمار، به سفر وی به دنیای دیگر کمک شده است و می‌تواند پایه‌ای برای دانش در این زمینه باشد.

   investigating nurses' views of the quality of dying and death in intensive care units of hospitals affiliated with tehran university of medical sciences in 2023: a cross sectional study

Abstract    background & aim: thinking about death is a human cognitive activity which affects a dying patient and the individuals who take care of them, especially nurses. considering the high mortality rate in icus, the present study aims to determine the views of the nurses of icus regarding patients' quality of dying and death. methods: this descriptive-cross-sectional study was conducted in 2023 in hospitals affiliated with tehran university of medical sciences. the research population consisted of 176 icu nurses in hospitals affiliated with tehran university of medical sciences, who were selected via a convenient sampling method. the data was collected using a demographic survey and the quality of dying and death (qodd) questionnaire —version 3.2a by cho et al. (2017).results: in evaluating the quality of dying and death and its three components (patient's experience at the end of life, end-of-life medical care, and quality of the moment of death experience), it can be stated that all of these components were lower than the mean scores. therefore, from the nurses' viewpoints, the quality of dying and death and its components are lower than mean scores. regarding the demographic characteristics (gender and marital status), there was no significant difference in the quality of dying and death of terminally ill patients in icus of hospitals affiliated with tehran university. in regards to nurses' education and their received training in the field of quality of dying and death, a significant difference was observed (p<0.05).conclusion: regarding nurses' understanding of the quality of dying and death in icus, planning can be done to help preserve the human dignity of dying patients and the peace of their families by creating supportive measures. through this process, families can also be assured that by maintaining the patient's human dignity, their death can be more convenient, and can be a foundation for knowledge in this field.
