صلاحیت فرهنگی پرستاران شاغل در اورژانس‌های بیمارستان‌های دانشگاه علوم پزشکی مشهد

زمینه و هدف: جامعه ایرانی دارای بافتی چندقومی، فرهنگی، زبانی و مذهبی است. با توجه به اینکه تفاوت‌های فرهنگی بر نحوه درک اطلاعات بیمار و کیفیت ارائه مراقبت پرستار تاثیر گذارند، بنابراین می‌توان گفت که ارائه مراقبت توسط پرستاران دارای صلاحیت فرهنگی می‌تواند شرایط سلامت بیماران با فرهنگ‌های مختلف را بهبود بخشد. با توجه به احتمال عدم انجام مطالعه‌ای در رابطه با صلاحیت فرهنگی پرستاران اورژانس در شهر مشهد، مطالعه حاضر با هدف بررسی میزان صلاحیت فرهنگی در پرستاران بخش اورژانس انجام شد.روش: این مطالعه از نوع توصیفی مقطعی می‌باشد. نمونه‌گیری به روش در دسترس، بر روی 139 نفر از پرستاران شاغل در بخش‌های اورژانس بیمارستان‌های دانشگاه علوم پزشکی مشهد انجام شد. هر پرستار که معیارهای ورود به مطالعه را داشت، پس از اخذ رضایت آگاهانه وارد پژوهش شد و پرسشنامه صلاحیت فرهنگی پرستاران از طریق مصاحبه با این پرستاران تکمیل شد. بعد از جمع‌آوری اطلاعات، داده‌ها وارد spss 16 شده و با آزمون تی مستقل و ضریب همبستگی پیرسون تجزیه و تحلیل آماری انجام شد. 0.05‌>p به عنوان سطح معنی‌داری در نظر گرفته شد.ملاحظات اخلاقی: این مطالعه با در نظرگرفتن اصول اخلاق در انجام و انتشار انجام گردید.یافته‌ها: میانگین نمره صلاحیت فرهنگی پرستاران بخش اورژانس 58.24±76.8 در حد بالا گزارش شد. میانگین نمره صلاحیت فرهنگی در پرستاران متاهل به طور معنی‌داری بالاتر از افراد مجرد بود (0.047=p). همچنین ارتباط بین نمرات صلاحیت فرهنگی پرستاران با سن (p<0/001, r=0/322)، سابقه کار کلی (p<0/001, r=0/325) و سابقه کار در بخش اورژانس (p<0/05, r=0/189) معنی‌دار بود.نتیجه‌گیری: علیرغم بالابودن نمره صلاحیت فرهنگی پرستاران در این مطالعه، می‌توان با برنامه‌های آموزشی مناسب، صلاحیت فرهنگی پرستاران اورژانس را از وضعیت مناسب موجود، به وضعیت مطلوب و ایده‌آل، ارتقا بخشید.

cultural competence of the nurses in the emergency departments of the hospitals affiliated to mashhad university of medical sciences

background and aim: iranian society has a multi-ethnic, cultural, linguistic and religious structure. due to the fact that cultural differences affect the perception of patient data and the quality of the care provided by nurses, it can be concluded that care provision of care by culturally qualified nurses improves the health conditions of patients with different cultures. considering that no study has been conducted regarding the cultural competence of emergency nurses in mashhad, the present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the level of nurse’s cultural competence in emergency departmentmethods: the research is a descriptive cross-sectional study conducted in 2023 on 139 nurses working at the emergency departments of the hospitals affiliated to mashhad university of medical sciences, selected through convenience sampling. the nurses meeting the inclusion criteria were selected and informed consents were obtained from them. then they were asked to complete nurses' cultural competency questionnaires. after data collection, the data was entered into spss 16 and statistical analysis was performed through independent t-test and pearson's correlation coefficient. p<0.05 was considered as the significant levelethical considerations: this study was conducted after observing ethical principles of conducting and publishing researchresults: the mean score of nurses' cultural competence was reported to be high, 76.8±58.24. the mean score of cultural competence in the married nurses was significantly higher than that of the single ones (p=0.047). furthermore, the relationships between nurses' cultural competence scores with age (r=0.322, p<0.001), general work experience (r=0.325, p<0.001) and working experience in at the emergency department (r=0.189, p<0.05) were significantconclusion: despite the high score of nurses' cultural competence in this study, it is possible to enhance the cultural competence of emergency nurses from the existing appropriate state to a desirable and ideal state through proper educational programs
