چرایی خودداری نخبگان از مهاجرت بازنمایی هویت استادی

این پژوهش با هدف دستیابی به مفهوم هویت دانشگاهی و هویت استادی، به بررسی بنیادهای فکری ـ ارزشی دانشگاهیان پرداخته است. دستیابی به این بنیادها دشوار است و نیاز به اتخاذ رویکردی غیرمستقیم دارد. از این‌رو به تفسیر تجربه زیسته استادانی پرداخته شد که هم تجربه حضور در دانشگاه‌های خارج از کشور را داشته‌اند و هم در دانشگاهی در حاشیه کشور به‌انجام وظیفه مشغولاند. این استادان دانشگاه‌های حاشیه، در خارج از کشور آموزش دیده و هنوز هم در ارتباط با برترین دانشگاه‌های جهان هستند، ولی امکانات معیشتی و آموزشی و پژوهشی استادان حاشیه در سطحی مطلوب و حتی متعارف نیست؛ چرا این استادان به جاهای دیگر مهاجرت نمی‌کنند؟ برای یافتن پاسخ از پدیدارشناسی تفسیری بهره گرفته شد و با نمونه‌گیری هدفمند و کرانه‌ای از میان استادانی که ویژگی مذکور را داشتند تا حد اشباع نظری کار گردآوری داده‌ها ادامه یافت. تفسیر نتایج گویای آن است که این استادان برخوردار از یک نظام ارزشی ـ فکری ویژه‌اند که در اینجا «میهن‌پرستی آکادمیک» نامیده شد. این میهن‌پرستی آکادمیک، همراهی «با جامعه» از راه پدیدآوردنِ ارتباطی پویا با پیکره جامعه و بازاریابی برای دانشگاه و کار کردن «برای جامعه» است از راه آموزش نیروی انسانی برای آینده و تولید دانشی که گره‌ای از مشکلات جامعه بگشاید.

Reasons Why Elites Do Not Immigrate: A Representation of Professorship Identity

The objective of this paper is to study the concept of academic identity and professorship identity through investigating the intellectualvaluational fundamentals of academics. Access to these fundamentals is difficult and requires an indirect method. Hence, attempts have been made to interpret the experiences of the academics who have had the experience of teaching at the foreign universities as well as Iranian universities on the margin. These academics of the universities on the margin have studied outside Iran and are still in contact with the top universities of the world, but their income  as well as educational and research facilities are not at standard level. Why these academics do not immigrate to other countries? Interpretive phenomenology was employed for the analysis of the problem and targeted sling was continued to collect the data from amongst the said academics based on theoretical saturation. The results indicate that the said academics enjoy a valuationalintellectual system which is called “academic patriotism” here. This academic patriotism includes accompanying “the society” through establishing a dynamic connection with the body of the society marketing for the university working “for the society” through educating human force for the future and production of a knowledge that solves a problem of the society.
