بررسی تحلیلی ابعاد و مولفه‌های دانشگاه‌پژوهی: ارائه الگوی تلفیقی دانشگاه‌پژوهی

هدف از این پژوهش بررسی تحلیلی نوشته‌های علمی صاحب‌نظران آموزش عالی در شناسایی و مفهوم‌سازی ابعاد و مولفه‌های دانشگاه‌پژوهی و ارائه یک الگوی تلفیقی مبتنی بر رویکرد کارکردی است. دانشگاه‌پژوهی مجموعه فعالیت‌هایی است که به‌منظور پشتیبانی از سیاست‌گذاری و برنامه‌ریزی توسعه دانشگاهی با مرکزیت یک واحد رسمی در نظر گرفته می‌شود. در این پژوهش از طریق طبقه‌بندی تحلیلی محتوای اسناد و مدارک، به شناسایی و استخراج سازه‌های دانشگاه‌پژوهی پرداخته شد. مفاهیم استخراج شده از متون در سه مرحله کدگذاری بازاولیه، کدگذاری باز ثانوی و کدگذاری محوری طبقه‌بندی و تحلیل گردید. نمونه‌های مورد مطالعه مشتمل بر 58 مقاله بود؛ شامل 52 نمونه از مقالات مرتبط خارج کشور که در سال‌های 1980 تا 2015 به‌چاپ رسیده است و 6 نمونه از مقالات مرتبط به‌چاپ رسیده در مجلات داخل کشور. یافته‌ها حاکی از وجود چهار مقوله محوری، شامل مرجعیت اطلاعات، سیاست‌پژوهی، تصمیم‌سازی و پاسخگویی و دوازده مقوله فرعی است. براساس یافته‌های حاصل از این پژوهش، الگوی تلفیقی دانشگاه‌پژوهی توسعه داده شد. این الگو می‌تواند چهارچوب کلی راهنمای تفکر و اقدام در شکل‌گیری دانشگاه‌پژوهی در دانشگاه‌های کشور باشد.

An Analytical Study of Aspects and Components of Institutional Research: Presenting an Integrated Model of Institutional Research

The objective of this paper is to analytically study the academic works of higher education experts on identification and conceptualization of different aspects and components of institutional research as well as to present an integrated model based on a functional approach. Institutional research is a set of activities aimed at supporting policymaking and planning for university development by an official central department. The present research is an attempt to identify and explore the institutional research constructs through analytical classification of the contents of related documents and texts. The extracted concepts were classified and analyzed in three steps, i.e. primary open coding, secondary open coding, and axial coding. The selected sample included 58 articles, out of which 52 were published between 1980 and 2015 in international journals outside the country and six of them were published in national journals. The findings of the research show four main categories and twelve subcategories. The four main categories are:  Information authority, policy research, decisionmaking, and accountability. An integrated model of institutional research was developed on the basis of the findings of this research. This model can be a general framework for institutional research ideas and activities in the universities across the country.
