درک مفهوم پژوهشگری از دیدگاه اعضای هیئت علمی؛ پژوهشی با رویکرد ترکیبی

مطالعه حاضر مفهوم پژوهشگری را از دیدگاه استادان رشته‌های مختلف موردبررسی قرارداد. به این منظور یک رویکرد ترکیبی متوالی اتخاذ گردید. بخش اول پژوهش با اهداف اکتشافی، روش پدیدارنگاری و مصاحبه با 30 نفر از اعضای هیئت علمی که در رشته‌های علمی مختلف تدریس و پژوهش می‌کردند انجام شد. به دنبال آن، به‌منظور تعمیم نتایج، پژوهش با استفاده از روش توصیفی پیمایشی با نمونه‌ای120 نفره از اعضای هیئت علمی ادامه یافت. ابزار مورد استفاده مصاحبه نیمه ‌ساختار‌یافته و پرسشنامه محقق‌ساخته بر اساس نتایج بخش کیفی بود. نتایج بخش کیفی گویای آن بود که پنج الگوی متفاوت از تجربه پژوهشگری استادان دانشگاهی می‌توان احصا نمودکه عبارت‌اند از: تحقیق به‌مثابه مسئولیت حرفه‌ای، کار هنری، سفر به ناشناخته‌ها، جورچین و داوری. پژوهشگران همچنین توانستند از داده‌های بخش کمّی نیز پنج عامل را به‌شرح ذیل استخراج نمایند که تقریباً با مفاهیم بخش کیفی معادل بودند: کشف حقیقت، گردآوری اطلاعات، حل مسئله، بازکاوی و برداشت نادرست از تحقیق. الگوها و عامل‌های احصاءشده از مفهوم پژوهشگری در تحقیق حاضر شیوه‌ای برای درک مشکلات یا عدم تکمیل دروس و دوره‌های پژوهشی به‌دلیل عدم تناسب مفاهیم استاد و دانشجو فراهم می‌کند. ازآنجا که هر الگو، گونه مختلفی از جهت‌گیری را در ارتباط با فرآورده‌های پژوهشی در بر دارد، چارچوب تحقیق حاضر ابزاری مفید در مباحث مربوط به بررسی عملکرد پژوهشی اعضای هیئت علمی فراهم می‌کند. اشارات کاربردی مطرح‌شده در پژوهش حاضر مبنایی را برای درک برخی پدیده‌های مرتبط با پژوهش در نظام آموزش عالی ارائه می‌کند که تاکنون به‌صورت کامل درک نشده است.

The Understanding of the Concept of Researcherhood in Viewpoint of Faculty Members: A Research through Synthetic Approach

The present paper investigated the concept of researcherhood in viewpoint of several faculty members of different disciplines. A sequential synthetic approach was adopted for this research. The first part of the research, following an explorative objective, employed phenomenography and interviews were conducted with 30 faculty members who taught and researched in different disciplines. In the next step, in order to generalize the results, the research was conducted by employing descriptivesurvey method with a sample of 120 faculty members. The tools used for this research included semistructured interviews and a questionnaire made by the researcher on the basis of qualitative results. The results of the qualitative section indicated that five different models of the experience of researcherhood by the university professors can be enumerated: research as a career responsibility, artistic work, journey to the unknown, puzzle and judgment. The researchers also extracted five factors from the quantitative data all of which were almost equivalent to the concepts of the qualitative section: discovery of the truth, collection of data, problem solving, reinvestigation and incorrect understanding of the research.   The models and factors enumerated based on the concept of researcherhood in the present study provide a method for the understanding of the problems or lack of completion of courses or research programs due to the incompatibility between the understanding of the professors and students of the concepts. Since any model contains a different kind of orientation related to the research product, the framework of the present study provides a useful tool regarding issues related to the study of research performance of faculty members. The applied hints given in this research offer a foundation for the understanding of some of the phenomena related to research in the higher education system that have not been understood properly till date.
