پاسخگویی اخلاق اسلامی به چالش‌‌های اخلاقیِ برآمده از تکنولوژی مدرن

تکنولوژی مدرن انسان را با چالش‌‌های اخلاقی بی‌سابقه‌ای مواجه کرده است. از طرفی قرار گرفتن خود انسان به‌عنوان موضوع تکنولوژی و از طرف دیگر آثار گسترده و اجتناب‌ناپذیرِ رواج روزافزون تکنولوژی بر روی محیط زیست، تصمیم‌گیری درباره نحوه توسعه و به‌کارگیری تکنولوژی را به چالش‌هایی اخلاقی بدل کرده است. یوناس در مقاله «تکنولوژی و مسئولیت، تاملاتی بر ماموریت جدید اخلاق» با مروری بر تغییراتی که جایگاه انسان و شرایط او در نتیجه توسعه تکنولوژی مدرن داشته است می‌کوشد نشان دهد نظام‌‌های اخلاقی سنتی با خصوصیاتی که دارند نمی‌توانند پاسخگوی مسائل اخلاقی نوظهور باشند. در این مقاله سعی شده است بر مبنای مقاله یوناس، استدلال‌هایی که اخلاق سنتی را در پاسخگویی به مسائل ناشی از تکنولوژی مدرن ناتوان می‌داند صورت‌بندی و تحلیل شوند. از آنجا که اخلاق اسلامی نیز مشمول حکم یوناس درباره اخلاق‌‌های سنتی است، ما در این مقاله به‌طور خاص از منظر اخلاق اسلامی، ادعای یوناس درباره اخلاق‌‌های سنتی را محک می‌زنیم و ظرفیت این آموزه‌ها در پاسخگویی به پرسش‌‌های نوظهور و پیشگیری از وقوع بحران‌‌های معاصر را بررسی می‌کنیم.

Islamic Ethic’s Responses to Ethical Challenges Created by Modern Technology

Modern technology has created unprecedented ethical challenges for man. On the one hand man has become the subject of technology and on the other the extensive and inevitable impacts of the ever increasing spread of technology on environment has turned decisionmaking about the use of technology into ethical challenges. Hans Jonas, in an article titled “Technology and Responsibility: Reflections on the New Tasks of Ethics,” reviewing the changes in status of man and his condition due to development of modern technology, tries to show that the traditional ethical systems due to their characteristics cannot respond to the newly emerged ethical issues. Based on Jonas’ article, attempts have been made in this article to formulate and analyze the arguments that consider traditional ethics incapable of responding to the problems caused by modern technology. Since Islamic ethics too is a subject of Jonas’ verdict about traditional ethics, in this article, we will examine Jonas’ contention specifically from the perspective of Islamic ethics and study the capacity of Islamic doctrines in responding to the newly emerged queries and preventing the contemporary crises.
