چکیده
|
A series of highly functionalized 1-(2',4'-dihydroxy-5'-substituted phenyl)-3-thienyl- propane-1,3-diones 3a-g have been produced upon baker-venkataraman rearrangement of 4- hydroxy-5-substituted-2-thienoyloxyacetophenones 2a-g using dimethylsulphoxide in naoh. all the synthesized motifs 3a-g were confirmed by the spectroscopic analyses and evaluated for antibacterial efficacy against different pathogens.
