آیا پادشاهی منوچهر صد و بیست سال بود؟ (بحثی درباره‌ی سال‌های زندگانی و پادشاهی منوچهر بر اساس روایات پهلوی، تاریخی و طومارهای نقّالی)

در نسخه های شاهنامه سرنویس هایی آمده که در آن ها آغاز پادشاهی ای یا عنوان رویدادی بیان شده است. در آغاز پادشاهی منوچهر عبارت «پادشاهی منوچهر صد و بیست سال بود» آمده و در گفتار «اندر اندرزکردن منوچهر نوذر را»، مرگ منوچهر در صد و بیست سالگی روی داده است؛ درنتیجه این پرسش به ذهن می رسد که آیا مدّت پادشاهی منوچهر صد و بیست سال بوده یا او صد و بیست سال عمر کرده است؟ زیرا اگر عمر او صد و بیست سال باشد، طبعاً سال های شهریاری وی باید کمتر از این زمان بوده باشد. در برخی متون تاریخی و طومارهای نقّالی روایت هایی ذکر شده که زندگانی منوچهر را بیش از صد و بیست سال بیان کرده اند. در بسیاری از منابع تاریخی، موسی(ع) معاصر منوچهر پیشدادی است و در تورات و بسیاری از متون تاریخی، طول عمر موسی(ع) صد و بیست سال ذکر شده، که احتمالاً در اثر آمیختگی روایت های منوچهر با روایت های موسی(ع) این دوران زندگانی به منوچهر منسوب شده است. در روایات اساطیریحماسی نمونه هایی از انتقال برخی ویژگی ها و کردارها از یک شخصیت به شخصیت دیگر دیده می شود که باعث شکل گیری این فرضیه می شود که با توجه به هم زمانی موسی و منوچهر، احتمالاً برخی از ویژگی های آن ها به یکدیگر منتقل شده که مهم ترین آن ها نسبت دادن طول عمر موسی(ع) به منوچهر است. از این رو در این پژوهش سعی شده با بررسی منابع رسمی و نقّالی برای اثبات یا رد فرضیه ی مذکور و همچنین مشخص نمودن سال های زندگانی منوچهر پاسخ هایی عرضه شود.

Was Manouchehr’s Kingdom a Hundred and Twenty Years Old One? A Discussion on Manouchehr’s Years of Life and Kingdom, Based on Pahlavi and Historical Narratives and Orally-Narrated Scrolls )

AbstractCopies of the Shahnameh contain titles that describe the beginning of the kingdom or the title of the event. At the beginning of Manouchehr’s kingdom, the following statement &Manouchehr’s kingdom was one hundred and twenty years old& is written and in the speech, under & advising Manouchehr&, his death is recorded to occur at the age of one hundred and twenty years. The question, therefore, arises as to whether Manouchehr’s kingdom was one hundred and twenty years old or he lived for one hundred and twenty years? For, if he lived for one hundred and twenty years, naturally his years of reign must have been fewer than this. Some historical texts and narrated scrolls cite narratives that have described Manouchehr’s life for more than one hundred and twenty years. In many historical sources, Moses is a contemporary of Manoochehr Pishdadi, and in the Torah and many historical texts, Moses is mentioned to live for a hundred and twenty years. It is likely that Manoochehr’s narratives is confused by that of Moses.  In mythtelling narratives, there are examples of the transfer of certain traits and deeds from one character to another, forming the hypothesis that, given the coincidence of Moses and Manouchehr, some features of these characters have been transferred to each other, the most important of which is to attribute Moses’s lifespan to Manouchehr’s. Therefore, this study attempts to provide answers by examining official and cited sources to prove or disprove this hypothesis as well as discovering the length of Manouchehr’s life.
