تعلق خاطر به دانشگاه به‌منزله تعیین‌‏گر هویت: تحلیل کیفی نظام معنایی دانشجویان دانشگاه شیراز

پژوهش حاضر به واکاوی نظام معنایی دانشجویان دوره دکتری دانشگاه شیراز و ادراک آن‌ها از تعلق به دانشگاه شیراز با رویکرد کیفی پرداخته است. شرکت‌کنندگان این پژوهش 15 دانشجوی دوره دکتری دانشگاه شیراز در سال تحصیلی 1401-1400 بودند. ابزار جمع‌آوری داده‌ها، مصاحبه‌های عمیق و نیمه‌ساختار یافته بود. مصاحبه‌ها تا نیل به اشباع نظری ادامه پیدا کردند. داده‌های جمع‌آوری‌شده با استفاده از روش تحلیل مضامین مورد تجزیه‌وتحلیل قرار گرفتند .فرایند حاصل از کدگذاری و تجزیه‌وتحلیل داده‌ها منجر به کشف سه مفهوم اصلی «دانشگاه به‌مثابه میدانی جهت بازاندیشی کلیشه‌های ذهنی»، «دانشگاه و اثرگذاری بر ابعاد هیجانی و شناختی فرد» و «دانشگاه شیراز و برجستگی بعد تعلق و هویت مکانی» شد. هر کدام از این مفاهیم از زیرمفهوم‌های متعددی تشکیل شده‌اند. درون‌مایه و تم اصلی پژوهش هم شامل «دانشگاه و تعیین‌گری هویتی و شناختی» است. با توجه به یافته‌های پژوهش می‌توان به این نتیجه رسید که دانشگاه تعیین‌گری سطح بالایی در شکل‌گیری نوع هویت، شناخت و تعلق دانشجویان دارد و نقش برجسته آن در جامعه انکارناپذیر است. سه مفهوم این پژوهش حکایت از آن دارند که دانشگاه موجب تغییرات هویتی و شناختی دانشجویان می‌شود و آن‌ها با چشم‌انداز فکری جدیدی آشنا می‌شوند. این تغییرات هویتی و شناختی در دانشگاه موجب بازاندیشی کلیشه‌های ذهنی دانشجویان و به چالش کشیدن باورها و اندیشه‌های ذهنی گذشته می‌شوند، که بسیاری از آن‌ها می‌توانند پیامدهای منفی برای جامعه و دانشگاه داشته باشند.

university belonging as a determinant of identity: a qualitative analysis of semantic system of shiraz university students

the present research aimed to examine the semantic system of phd students of shiraz university and their perception of belonging to shiraz university using a qualitative approach. the participants were 15 phd students of shiraz university in the academic year of 2021-2022. in-depth and semi-structured interviews were used to collect data. the interviews continued until theoretical saturation was reached. the collected data were analyzed using thematic analysis method. the process of coding and data analysis led to the identification of the following three main concepts: the university as a context for rethinking stereotypes, the university and its impact on the emotional and cognitive dimensions of students, and shiraz university, the prominence of the dimension of belonging and spatial identity. each of these themes consisted of several sub-concepts. the main theme of the study was university as an identity and cognitive determinant. based on the findings, it can be concluded that the university plays an essential and undeniable role in the formation of students' identity, cognition and student’s belonging. the above mentioned three concepts indicate that the university can foster identity and cognitive changes will encourage students to rethink their academic, cultural, and social stereotypes and challenge their previous beliefs and thoughts, of which many, if left untouched, can have negative consequences for the society, in general, and the university, in particular.
