بررسی روایات نحوست روز دوشنبه

گفت وگو دربارۀ سعد و نحس ایام در بستر تاریخ بشر، پیشینه ای کهن دارد. یکی از روزهای هفته که در برخی فرهنگ ها به عنوان روزی نحس به شمار می رود، روز دوشنبه است. طبق این باور انجام برخی از کارها در این روز پیامدی ناگوار خواهد داشت. در فرهنگ مسلمانان نیز کمابیش چنین باوری مطرح است و ریشۀ آن را می توان در استناد به روایاتی دانست که به ظاهر بر شومی روز دوشنبه دلالت دارند و از انجام کارهایی در این روز بازداشته یا عباداتی را برای رهایی از شومی آن توصیه نموده اند. این مقاله با بررسی سندی و محتوایی روایات این موضوع کوشیده است صحت این مدعا را بررسی نموده و در حد امکان به تحقیق علل و اسباب صدور این روایات بپردازد. سرانجام این تحقیق عدم ثبوت نحوست روز دوشنبه است.

A Study of the Traditions Related to the Unfortunate Monday

Speaking of the fortune of the days has a long history. One of the days of the week which is known to be illstarred in some cultures is Monday. According to this belief doing some actions on this day will lead to dire consequences. In Islamic culture such a belief more or less exists and its roots can be traced apparently to some traditions which indicate the unfortunate Monday, and forbids doing certain practices on this day, as well as recommending some acts of worship for evading its bad luck. This article by studying the documents and content of the traditions on this subject tries to investigate the validity of this claim and attempts to to find out the causes and reasons of the emergence of such narrations. Finally, this research proves the invalidity of the tradition of unfortunate Monday.
