تعدیل شخصیت رجالی معلی بن خنیس

از موالیان و اصحاب امام صادق(ع) معلی بن خنیس از جمله افرادی است که مورد اتهام عده‌ای قرار گرفته و روایات ضد و نقیضی دربارۀ او در دست است. برخی از رجالیون متقدم و متاخر معتقد به وثاقت معلی بن خنیس هستند و برخی رای بر عدم وثاقت او داده‌اند. برخی نیز راه توقف را در پیش گرفته‌اند. از جمله کسانی که به اعتبار معلی بن خنیس معتقدند می‌توان به شیخ طوسی، آیت‌الله خویی، مسلم داوری و دیگران اشاره کرد. در مقابل، عالمانی چون نجاشی و ابن‌غضائری رای بر عدم وثاقت معلی بن خنیس داده‌اند. عده‌ای همچون علامه مجلسی و علامه حلی نیز با توجه به تعارض موجود بین قائلین به وثاقت و عدم وثاقت و عدم امکان ترجیح یکی از دو قول، توقف کرده و نظری ابراز نکرده‌اند؛ در این میان معلی یکی از شیوخ مشایخ ثقات شمرده شده است که توثیقات عام رجالیون شامل وی نیز می‌گردد. بنابراین تضعیف او نقض این قاعدۀ رجالی به شمار خواهد رفت. ازاین‌رو شایسته است دلایل و استدلالات طرفین مدعا را مورد نقد و بررسی قرار داد تا دیدگاه و اعتقاد صواب تمییز داده شود. در این مقاله، سعی بر این است که با بررسی اقوال بزرگان و اخبار در دسترس، وثاقت او مورد بررسی قرار گیرد تا در حد امکان، چهرۀ واقعی او از نظر وثاقت شناخته شود. برای این منظور از کتاب‌های رجالی راویان حدیث معتبر شیعه بهره گرفته شده است.

ta’dīl of rijālī personality of mu’alla ibn khunays

mu’alla ibn khanīs, one of the slave and companions of imam sādiq (pbuh), is among those who have been accused by some and there are contradictory traditions about him. some early and later scholars of rijāl believe in the reliability of mu’alla ibn khunays, and some have voted for his unreliability. some have preferred not to judge in this regard. among those who believe in the reliability of mu’alla ibn khunays, we can mention shai(ع)h tūsī, ayatollah khūī, muslim dāvarī and others. in contrast, scholars such as najāshī and ibn al-ghaḍāʿirī have voted against the unreliability of mu’alla ibn khunays. some people, such as ʿallāma majlisī and ʿallāma ḥillī, have not expressed any opinion due to the conflict between those who believe in reliability and unreliability and the impossibility of preferring one of the two promises; among these, mu’alla ibn khunays is considered one of the great and renowned one of thiqāt, who is also included in the general tauthīqāt of the rijāls. therefore, the rejection of his reliability will be regarded breach of this rijālī rule. therefore, it is appropriate to review the reasons and arguments of the plaintiff parties in order to distinguish the right point of view and belief. in this article, an attempt is made to examine his credibility by examining the opinions of the elders and the available news in order to recognize his true face in terms of credibility as much as possible. for this purpose, the rijālī boo(ع)s, the narrators of authentic shiite hadith, have been used.
