«پدر ناکارآمد» بررسی علل گرایش به الحاد از دیدگاه جان. جی. پاسکویینی

مطالعات میان‌رشته‌ای و افزایش سطح تعامل میان رشته‌های مختلف علوم انسانی در بررسی‌ها و مطالعات اخیر جایگاه ویژه‌ای یافته است. علل گرایش به الحاد نیز موضوعی است که امکان دارد از زوایای مختلف روانشناسانه، جامعه‌شناسانه و دین‌شناسانه بررسی شود. در این مقاله چرایی و چگونگی تاثیرگذاری علل غیرفلسفی مانند آسیب‌های عاطفی، روانی، تربیتی و فضای فکری و فرهنگی جامعه (که اغلب توسط روشنفکران رهبری می‌شود) بررسی خواهد شد تا مشخص شود که مداخلۀ عوامل غیرفلسفی تا چه اندازه در برگزیدن جهان‌بینی الحادی موثر است. پاسکویینی با استفاده از نظریۀ «پدر ناکارآمد» پروفسور ویتز، نقش عوامل روانشناسانه و اجتماعی را در گرایش به الحاد بررسی کرده است.

“The Dysfunctional Father”: An Examination of the Causes of Tendency to Atheism from the Viewpoint of John J. Pasquini

Interdisciplinary studies and the increased level of interaction among various disciplines of humanities have found a special status in the recent studies. The “reasons for the tendency to atheism” is also a topic that can be studied from different psychological, sociological, and theological stances. The article at hand shows how and why the nonphilosophical causes such as emotional, mental, and educational damages along with cultural and intellectual conditions of society – which are usually led by its openminded class – affect the tendency toward atheism. In other words, this article aims at disclosing the degree to which the intervention of nonphilosophical factors can affect the adoption of atheistic worldviews. Using the theory of “dysfunctional father” proposed by Vitz, Pasquini has examined the role of psychological and social factors in the tendency to atheism.
