تبیین صناعت مغالطه و نقش خیال در آن از منظر فارابی

مساله جستار حاضر تبیین مغالطه از دیدگاه فارابی و نقش خیال در آن است. موضوع مغالطه, امور عامه؛ مبادی آن, مشهوره مظنون, و یقین توهمی؛ و غرض آن, تخیل باطل به‌صورت حق است. اخذ «توهم» به‌عنوان غرض مغالطه از مهم‌ترین علل عدم اخذ آن در میان سایر قوای نفسانی؛ و اخذ «محاکی»، و «مشبهه» در غرض از علل تداخل آن با صناعت شعر, و اخذ آن به‌عنوان مبادی علوم است. از جمله نقش‌های متخیله در معرفت و مغالطه: استعمال تخییلات در راستای اهداف مغالطه‌کننده, عهده‌دار قوای اخذ تشابه و تباین و ضعف در آن‌ها, استعمال تصورات تخییلی خواص امور در عوض معنای اول معرفت خاصی که به ازای دوری آن‌ها از حقیقت امور, امکان رخداد مغالطه وجود دارد, استعمال مجموعه ترکیبی در معنای دوم معرفت خاصی از زمره‌ی یکی از اقسام علامات محاکاتی, قرار گرفتن در حیز وجودی معرفتی - خیالی.
