ارزیابی برهان پیامد ون اینوگن در برابر مسئولیت اخلاقی

چکیده: برهان غیرمستقیم پیامد در پی آن است که با تشبّث به اصل امکان‌های بدیل ناسازگاری تعین‌گرایی علّی و مسئولیت اخلاقی را نشان دهد و از این‌رو از یکسو مدعی است که تعین علّی موجب می‌گردد که کنش‌های انسان برآمده از رخدادهای گذشته و قوانین طبیعت و در نتیجه فاقد امکان بدیل باشد، و از سوی دیگر تاکید می‌کند که مسئولیت اخلاقی انسانها به چنین آزادی انتخاب و کنشی برای برگزیدن و کنشگری محتمل خلاف واقع متکی است. بدین‌ترتیب از منظر ون‌اینوگن ترسیم جهان متعینی که به نحو معناداری بتوان در آن عامل‌های اخلاقی را از منظر اخلاقی در قبال فعل و یا ترک فعل‌شان مسئول قلمداد نمود ناممکن خواهد بود. در این مجال به تبیین و ارزیابی دو مولفه مدعای ون اینوگن در چارچوب فلسفه اسلامی و نسبت ضرورت سابق علّی و اختیار عامل در آن و نیز الگوی فرانکفورتی و رابطه مسئولیت اخلاقی شخص و امکان بدیل برای وی خواهیم پرداخت. واژگان کلیدی: برهان پیامد. ون اینوگن. مسئولیت اخلاقی. اصل امکان های بدیل. الگوی فرانکفورتی

evaluation of Van Inwagen’s consequence argument Versus moral responsibility

Abstract The consequence indirect argument on the strength of the principle of alternative possibilities (PAP) seeks to establish that causal determinism is incompatible with moral responsibility. So on the one hand, it claims that causal determinism will cause human actions arising from past events and the laws of nature and thus we have no alternative possibilities of any sort. On the other hand it insists that human moral responsibility depends on such freedom of choice and action for activity in counterfactual sequence. Thus, from the perspective of Van Inwagen, drawing of a determined world that in which a moral agent can meaningfully be held morally responsible for what he does or does not would be impossible. In this paper, we will explain and evaluate two components of Van Inwagen’s claim within the framework of Islamic philosophy and Frankfurtian rule. Keywords: Consequence argument. Van Inwagen.
