the present time is the era of exchange of information and knowledge explosion with opportunities as well as threats, and these threats put counter-intelligence agencies puts at risk of slipping. the phenomenon of environmental complexity in the modern era has led intelligence agencies to adopt different attitudes and approaches to it. these organizations based their specific functions, should be able to create self confidence for passing through threats via thinking, correct thoughts, and institutionalized spirituality; in fact, for having sound decisions, they should utilize their spiritual intelligence. the present paper used a descriptive (a library) approach and analysis of data based on theoretical principles, and tried to explore the concepts of spiritual intelligence, status and role in the organization, common patterns of spiritual intelligence. then by providing the characteristics of counter-intelligence decision-making and the relationship between spiritual intelligence and decision-making, tried to answer the question: what is the role spiritual intelligence in the counter-intelligence decision making?findings show that function of counter intelligence organizations is different from other organizations in form and content, so their decision making may be different. thus, managers and employees may use the role and position of spiritual intelligence in the
