The pakistan library association golden jubilee international conference on emerging paradigm of librarianship: a call for innovation was held in november, 2007 at aiwan-e- iqbal, lahore. it has been applauded by participants as an innovative development in the history of librarianship in pakistan. it was a first-ever international conference in pakistan with contributions from usa, uk, singapore, kuwait, india and jammu & kashmir. the event was as grand as it should be to commemorate the golden jubilee of pla.
