   Application of Hydrodistillation-Dynamic Headspace Liquid Phase Micro extraction-Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry for Fast Determination of Essential Oil in Artemisia Haussknechtii Boiss

چکیده    Anew method consist's of hydrodistillation (hd) and dynamic headspace liquid phaseniicroextraction techniques coupled with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (hddhlpme-gcms) is described for extraction and analysis of the volatile constituents of theplant artemisia haussknechtii boiss. in the present work, the main parameters of hd-dhlpmesuch as type of extracting sol vent, sampling volume, solvent volume, syringe withdrawalrate, and number of extraction cycles were optimized. totally fifty-six compounds wereextracted and identified by this method. the main constituents of the essential oil were:camphor (40 .83%), 1,8-cineole (26.84%), cis-davanone (4.77 %), linalool (4.44 %), 4-terpineol(3.62%), b-fenchyl alcohol (3 .52%), and borneol (2.87%).
