مکان‌های اسطوره‌ای در طومارهای نقالی

مکان، یکی از بن‌مایه‌های اساطیری است که بشر همواره با آن ارتباطی فرامادی دارد. پذیرفتن نقش اسطوره‌ای بعضی مکان‌ها و قداست آن ها، مضمونی است که در روایت های اساطیری، حماسی و نقالی دیده می شود. این مضمون به صورت کوه، غار، چاه، چشمه، دخمه، دژ، باغ، مکان طلسم شده و... نمود یافته است. در باور اساطیری، مکان با آنچه در محیط کیهانی و مادی تعریف شده، متفاوت است؛ اشیا و پدیده های مادی و دنیوی به امور ماورایی و قدسی تبدیل می‌شوند و قهرمان با قرار گرفتن در مکان اسطوره‌ای، به بلوغ و تکامل می رسد و به تحول روحی و نیز جاودانگی دست می یابد. این پژوهش به شیوه‌ توصیفی تحلیلی در نظر دارد که به معرفی مکان‌های اسطوره‌ای و واکاوی کارکرد و کیفیت آن‌ها در روایات طومارهای نقالی بپردازد تا پس از مطالعه در روایات حماسی شاهنامه و طومارها، نمونه هایی از این بن‌مایه‌های مهم مکان‌های اسطوره‌ای بررسی و تحلیل شوند. نتایج پژوهش حاضر پس از تحلیل کیفیت اسطوره‌ای مکان‌ها در طومارها حاکی از آن است که کوه به دلیل جایگاه بلند و نزدیکی اش به آسمان، از مقدس ترین این مکان‌هاست و دیگر مکان‌های اساطیری و مقدس چون چشمه، قلعه، دخمه و باغ نیز اغلب بر فراز کوه‌ها هستند.

place holds a deep, mythological significance that resonates with humans on a transcendental level. the sanctity and mythological importance of certain locations are recurring themes in myths, epics, and tradition of storytelling (naggali), often depicted through mountains, caves, wells, springs, crypts, fortresses, gardens, and enchanted realms. these mythological interpretations view place as distinct from its cosmic and material surroundings, elevating ordinary objects and phenomena into sacred and symbolic realms. by situating the hero within these mythical landscapes, they undergo personal growth, spiritual development, and ultimately achieve immortality. this descriptive-analytical research aims to explore the role and significance of mythical places within the tradition of storytelling (naggali), drawing insights from epic narratives in the shāhnāmeh and other sources. through analyzing the mythological attributes associated with these places, the study reveals mountains as particularly sacred locations due to their elevated stature and proximity to the heavens. additionally, other mythological sites such as springs, castles, crypts, and gardens are often situated atop mountains, further emphasizing their mystical nature.
