واکاوی اسطوره‌شناختی رمان «من و عجیب و غریب» (با تکیه بر نمادهای مادینه و فرایند بلوغ نوجوان)

رمان «من و عجیب و غریب» اثری است در ژانر فانتزی که برای ردۀ سنی نوجوان نوشته شده است. عناصر و شخصیت‌های موجود در این رمان از الگوهایی اسطوره‌ای تاثیر پذیرفته‌اند. در واقع گونۀ فانتزی در این اثر از نوع فانتزی اسطوره‌ای است و بنیانی ژرف در پی اجزای آن نهفته است. پژوهش حاضر به شیوۀ تحلیلی تطبیقی و نقد اسطوره‌ای در نظر دارد به تحلیل و کاوش نهان‌گرایانۀ رازها و مفاهیم اسطوره‌ای موجود در داستان بپردازد. شخصیت نوجوان داستان در مرحلۀ بلوغ قرار دارد و وظیفه‌ای به او محوّل شده است که برای انجام آن، وارد سرزمینی ناشناخته می‌شود. نتایج نشان دهنده آن است که مناسک و رفتارهای بنیادینی که لازمۀ عبور از مرحلۀ کودکی به جوانی است، در این داستان نمادینه شده است. عبور از این مقطع و انجام ماموریتی حیاتی که همانا کشف دانۀ زندگی و بازگرداندن حیات به سرزمین باستان است، خویشکاری او در سیر این بلوغ به شمار می‌رود. شخصیت‌های زن، درختی ساکن در سرزمین باستان، متاثر از کهن‌الگوی قداست درختان هستند. شخصیت پری رودخانه که نگهبان آب است، از ایزدبانوبان مقدّس ادوار کهن بهره جسته است. عناصری چون صدف، اشک جزو نمادهای باروری و مادینه به شمار می‌روند. همچنین هیولای گرسنگی به‌ عنوان عنصر شرّ خاستگاهی اسطوره‌ای دارد.

The Weirdo and I; A Mythological Analysis Based on Feminine Symbols and the Process of Adolescent Maturation

The Weirdo and I by Forouzande Khodajoo is a novel in the fantasy genre written for teenagers. The elements and characters of the novel are influenced by mythological motifs. In fact, the fantasy presented in the work is of the mythological fantasy type and has a deep foundation behind its components. The present study intends to analyze and explore the mysteries and mythological concepts in the story in an analyticalcomparative manner and mythological criticism approach. The main character of the story (a girl named Baran) is in the stage of maturity; she has been given a task that to do it, she must enter an unknown land. The results show that the rituals and actions that are necessary to pass from childhood to youth are symbolized in the story. Her mission during the maturity is to discover the seeds of life and bring life back to the ancient land. The character of woman, as a tree inhabiting the ancient land, is influenced by the archetype of the sanctity of trees. The character of the river fairy, who is the guardian of water, is inspired by the sacred goddesses of ancient times. Elements such as oysters and tears are symbols of fertility and femininity. Also, the monster of starvation, as an element of evil, has a mythological origin.
