دگردیسی‌های اسطورۀ جمشید در گذار از دوران هندواروپایی به دوران اسلامی

مهم‌ترین راز ماندگاریِ بسیاری از چهره‌های اساطیری، دگرگونی‌ها و تحوّلاتی است که هر شخصیّت یا روایت اسطوره‌ای در گذر زمان به خود دیده است. از جمله چهره‌های کهن در متون ادبی و اسطوره‌ای ایرانیان جمشید است که مجموعۀ وسیعی از روایت‌ها و مضامین اساطیری به او اختصاص دارد. در پژوهش حاضر آن‌گونه که از نظر خواهد گذشت، شالودۀ نخستین داستان جم به دوران هندواروپایی بازمی‌گردد و در روند تحول اساطیری به دوران اسلامی می‌رسد. در این دگردیسی، تمامی عناصر تحوّل اسطوره؛ یعنی شکستگی، دگرگونی و ادغام دیده می‌شود؛ به گونه‌ای که در این راستا مرزهای ایزدگونگی عصر ودایی تا قدم نهادن در وادی عرفان در دوران اسلامی را درمی‌نوردد. حاصل پژوهش حاضر، تمامی تحولاتی است که این اسطورۀ محبوب دوران هندواروپایی در بستر فرهنگ ایرانی به خود دیده است. شخصیتی که در پس نوآوری‌های زرتشت راه هبوط در پیش می‌گیرد امّا محبوبیت دیرپایش به بازآفرینی و عروج او می‌انجامد.

The Metamorphosis of the Myth of Jam from the IndoEuropean Period to Islamic Era

The most important reason for the survival of mythological characters is the transformations that each character or mythical narrative has experienced over time. Jamshid is one of the ancient characters in Iranian literary and mythical texts that many mythological narratives and themes are devoted to him. As the present research shows, the primary basis of the story of Jam dates back to the IndoEuropean period and its process of transformation takes place in Islamic era. In this metamorphosis, all the elements of the evolution of a myth, namely, fracture, transformation and integration are seen. Also, the divinity of the Vedic Gods and mysticism of Islamic period can be detected in the metamorphosis of the myth of Jam. The present article attempts to show all changes that have befallen this IndoEuropean popular myth in the context of Iranian culture. Jamshid is a figure that descends after the advent of Zarathustra, but he reborns and becomes exalted because of his longtime popularity.
