Ethical considerations in animal studies

Scientists undoubtedly owe their great advance and knowledge in biomedical research tomillions of animals which they use every year in oftenپ]times extremely painful anddistressing scientific procedures. one of the important issues in scientific research is toconsider ethics in animal experimentation. since this is a crucial issue in the modern era ofmedical research, in this paper, we have provided some guidelines (most of which havebeen adopted from guidelines for ethical conduct in the care and use of animalsprovided by american association of psychologists) which could be useful for researchersto design studies on a variety of animals.
