پیوند اپونیم‌های علوم پزشکی با اساطیر

اصطلاحات پزشکی که در حال حاضر به کار می‌روند، از منابع مختلف نشات گرفته‌اند. این اصطلاحات اغلب از یک اپونیم گرفته شده‌اند؛ اپونیم، در اصل نام پزشک و دانشمندی است که یک ناهنجاری یا روش درمانی را کشف کرده یا اولین‌بار یک ناهنجاری را گزارش کرده؛ همچنین می‌تواند نام منطقه‌ای باشد که یک بیماری اولین‌بار در آنجا شیوع یافته است. اپونیم‌ها گاه با اسطوره و ادبیات و هنر نیز پیوند می‌یابند؛ البته شخصیت‌های اساطیری و ادبی و هنری که در علم پزشکی به‌صورت اپونیم کاربرد یافته‌اند، اغلب به اساطیر یونان و روم مربوط می‌شوند. اگرچه بدون اطلاع از نام‌های قدیم یک بیماری چون: سرسام، برسام، داء‌الفیل، داءالرقص، پیسی، دق، ذات‌الریه و ذات‌الجنب می‌توان به تخصص در علم پزشکی دست یافت، یادآوری نام‌های ادبی و اساطیری، حتی آن‌هایی که امروزه کاربرد عملی ندارند یا در جایی از تاریخ پزشکی فراموش شده‌اند، علم پزشکی را تلطیف کرده و به ما امکان می‌دهد علم و هنر را به هم پیوند دهیم. در این مقاله اپونیم‌های مربوط به علوم پزشکی در شاخه‌های آناتومی و بیوشیمی بر مبنای اسطوره مطالعه و بررسی می‌شود.

Correlation between the Eponyms of Medical Sciences and Mythology

The medical terms currently used are derived from a variety of sources. These terms are often derived from an eponym. Eponyms are a longstanding tradition in medicine. Eponyms usually involve honoring a prominent physicianscientist who played a significant role in identifying the disease or the person who first reported the disease or the area where a disease first broke out in there. Eponyms are sometimes associated with myth, literature, and art. Of course, the mythological, literary, and artistic figures used in medicine as eponyms are mostly related to Greek and Roman mythology and English and German literature. However, without knowing the ancient records of a disease such as Sarsam (delirium), Barsam (pleurisy), Da #39;alfil (elephantiasis), Da #39;alRaqs (chorea), Pisi (Vitiligo), Degg (languish), Zatul reyeh (Pneumonia), and ZatulJanb (pleurisy), one can specialize in medicine, but, recalling of literary and mythological letters, even those that have no practical application today or have been forgotten somewhere in the history of medicine, can soften medical science and allow us to link science and art. In this article, eponyms that are related to the sciences of anatomy and biochemistry are studied based on myth.
