بررسی بیان egfr درلکوپلاکیای دهانی دیسپلاستیک و غیردیسپلاستیک به روش ایمنوهیستوشیمی

مقدمه: هدف از این مطالعه بررسی بیان egfr درلکوپلاکیای دهانی با و بدون دیسپلازی و مخاط نرمال به روش ایمنوهیستوشیمی بود. مواد و روش‌ها: در این بررسی، تعداد 45 نمونه لکوپلاکیای دهانی دیسپلاستیک و غیر‌‌دیسپلاستیک و بافت نرمال بدون التهاب (هر گروه 15 نمونه) از آرشیو‌‌‌ بخش آسیب‌شناسی دانشکده دندانپزشکی مشهد، انتخاب شد. بررسی ایمنوهیستوشیمی egfr براساس دستورالعمل کارخانه سازنده انجام شد. درصد ایمنوراکتیویتی سلول‌‌ها ثبت شد و سپس با استفاده از آنالیزهای آماری (از آزمون‌های کای اسکوئر، آنالیز واریانس یک عاملی، کروسکال والیس و من-ویتنی) با هم مقایسه گردید. یافته‌ها: ایمنوراکتیویتی بین سه گروه تفاوت آماری معنی‌‌داری داشت (0.001=p) به طوری که بیانegfr  از مخاط نرمال به سمت لکوپلاکیای غیردیسپلاستیک و دیسپلاستیک افزایش نشان داد. بیان مارکر بین دو گروه لکوپلاکیای دیسپلاستیک و غیردیسپلاستیک تفاوت آماری معنی‌‌داری نداشت. نتیجه گیری: بر اساس نتایج این مطالعه، افزایش بیان egfr، به عنوان یک فاکتور کلیدی در بدخیمی‌های اپی تلیالی، از بافت نرمال به سمت لکوپلاکیای غیردیسپلاستیک و لکوپلاکیای دیسپلاستیک حاکی از نقش احتمالی این مارکر در روند کارسینوژنز است.

immunohistochemical evaluation of egfr expression in oral dysplastic and non-dysplastic leukoplakia

background: this study aimed to evaluate the expression of epidermal growth factor receptor (egfr) in oral leukoplakia with and without dysplasia and normal mucosa by immunohistochemistry.materials and methods: in this study, 45 samples of oral leukoplakia with and without dysplasia of normal mucosa (15 samples per group) were selected from the archives of the oral and maxillofacial pathology department mashhad dental school. immunohistochemical evaluation of egfr expression according to the manufacturer’s instructions was performed. the percentage of immunoreactivity was recorded and compared by statistical tests (chi-square one-way anova kruskal-wallismann-whitney u). results: there was a statistically significant difference among the three groups with regards to efgr expression (p=0.001). increased expression of egfr from normal mucosa to non-dysplastic leukoplakia and dysplastic leukoplakia was observed. there was no statistically significant difference between dysplastic and non-dysplastic leukoplakia.conclusion: increased expression of egfr was recognized as a key contributing factor for malignant transformations from normal mocusa to non-dysplastic and dysplastic leukoplakia, therefore indicating its role in the carcinogenesis of oral mucosa.
