بررسی میزان کاربردی بودن پایان نامه های دانشکده ی دندانپزشکی مشهد طی سال های1393 تا 1398

مقدمه: هدف از این مطالعه بررسی کاربردی بودن پایان نامه های دانشکده ی دندانپزشکی مشهد طی سال های1393 تا 1398بود.مواد و روش ها: تمامی عناوین پایان نامه های موجود در دانشکده دندانپزشکی مشهد از سال 1393 تا 1398 در یازده گروه آموزشی و در دو زیرگروه عمومی و تخصصی تقسیم بندی شدند و سپس طبق اهداف مورد نظر تحقیق و براساس چک لیست تهیه شده، کاربردی بودن پایان نامه ها بررسی شد و به صورت توصیفی ارایه گردید. یافته ها: طی سال های 1393تا 1398 در دانشکده دندانپزشکی مشهد، 595 کار تحقیقی در قالب پایان نامه انجام شده بودکه نتایج حاکی از آن بود که اکثر پایان نامه های مقطع عمومی و تخصصی از نوع مداخله ای بود (57/3درصد). میزان مشارکت ها و جذب منابع مالی از سایر دانشکده ها یا دانشگاه ها 27/3درصد، پایان نامه های منجر به محصول و یا تولیدی 3/9درصد و موضوعاتی که در جهت افزایش آگاهی جامعه در جهت بهداشتی و درمانی بودند 4/9درصد بود.نتیجه گیری: نتایج این مطالعه که عناوین 5 سال تحقیق پایان نامه ای را در دانشکده دندانپزشکی مشهد بررسی کرده بود، نشان داد که بیشتر عناوین، جنبه تولیدی و محصول محور نداشته و موضوعاتی که جهت افزایش آگاهی جامعه در جهت سلامت بهداشت عمومی انجام شده بود به دست آن ها نرسیده بود. این موضوع نشان می دهد که باید اهداف و معیارها بازنگری شود و مسئولین بالادست و طراحان و برنامه نویسان پژوهش کشور به این نکته توجه نمایند که بازخورد اجتماعی و علمی تحقیقات نیز حایز اهمیت است و با رفع موانع مالی و اداری بر سر راه محققین، شرایط را برای پیشبرد تولید و اختراع و نشر اجتماعی تحقیقات مرتبط با سلامت جامعه، فراهم کنند.

evaluation of applicability of dissertations of mashhad dentistry school within 2014-2019

background: the present study aimed to evaluate the applicability of dissertations of mashhad dentistry school, mashhad, iran, during 2014-2019.methods and materials: the pertaining titles of all theses conducted in mashhad dentistry school within the years 2014 to 2019, were evaluated. the theses were divided into 11 educational groups and two subgroups of under-graduate and post-graduate theses. then, applicability of the dissertations was examined according to the research objectives and based on the prepared checklist. the results were presented descriptively.results: during 2014-2019, 595 dissertations were completed at mashhad dentistry school. the results showed that most under- and post-graduate dissertations were interventional studies (57/3%). the rate of participation or funding from other faculties or universities was 27.3%. moreover, 3.9% of dissertations led to material production, and 4.9% aimed at increasing public awareness of health and treatment.conclusion: evaluation of mashhad dentistry school theses during the last five years revealed that most theses did not lead to production; other dissertations aiming to raise public awareness failed to reach the targeted audience. this finding indicates that the ultimate goals and criteria should be revised, and involved authorities should be concerned about the social and scientific feedback of conducted research. they should attempt to overcome the associated financial and administrative barriers for conducting health-related research and promote the production, innovation, and publication of health-related studies.
