مددکاران اجتماعی پزشکی: نقش‌ها و وظایف کنونی

مقدمه: مددکاران اجتماعی پزشکی با توجه به وظایف حرفه ای شان می توانند نقش موثری در فرآیند درمان و حل مشکلات مراجعین داشته باشند. این پژوهش باهدف شناخت نقش ها و وظایف کنونی مددکاران اجتماعی در بیمارستان ها، انجام گرفت.روش : در این پژوهش کیفی، بر اساس روش نمونه گیری هدفمند، 15 نفر از مددکاران اجتماعی بیمارستان های عمومی و تک تخصصی شهر تهران انتخاب شدند. جمع آوری داده ها با روش مصاحبه عمیق نیمه ساختاریافته انجام شد؛ و داده ها با استفاده از روش تحلیل محتوای کیفی تجزیه وتحلیل گردید.یافته ها: جهت تعیین مفاهیم اصلی، کدهای اولیه پس از ادغام در 13 طبقه و 2 مفهوم اصلی (نقش های غیرمستقیم و نقش های مستقیم) دسته بندی شدند. نقش های غیرمستقیم بر اساس 4 طبقه که شامل: پژوهشگری در عرصه بهداشت و درمان؛ همکاری و عضویت در تیم درمان و کمیته های بیمارستانی؛ مستندسازی؛ و جذب منابع مالی دسته بندی شد. نقش های مستقیم در 9 طبقه حمایت مالی رفاهی و روانی اجتماعی؛ آموزش دهنده؛ رابط؛ ارائه دهنده خدمت؛ راهنما و مشاور؛ برنامه ریز ترخیص و پیگیری پس از ترخیص؛ ارزیابی و استحقاق سنجی؛ مداخله در بحران؛ و مدافع مراجعین و سیستم، تقسیم شد.نتیجه گیری: بسیاری از نقش هایی که از تجزیه وتحلیل مصاحبه ها استخراج گردید، نقش های تخصصی مددکاران اجتماعی پزشکی بود. ولی وظایف مربوط به نقش ها نشان داد بسیاری از وظایف تعریف شده نقش ها یا حرفه ای و تخصصی نیستند و یا واضح و روشن نمی باشند.

Medical Social Workers: Current Roles and Tasks

Introduction: Concerning the professional duties of medical social workers, they can have effective role in the treatment process and solving the problems of clients. This study was performed to investigate the current roles and tasks of social workers in hospitals.Method: In this qualitative study, 15 social workers of public and specialized hospitals in Tehran were selected using purposeful sampling. Data were collected using indepth semistructured interview and analyzed using qualitative content analysis.Results: To determine the main concepts, after combining some of the codes, they were finally classified into 13 categories and 2 themes (indirect and direct care roles). The indirect care roles were categorized into 4 categories including research in healthcare, cooperation with and membership in the treatment team and hospital committees, documentation, and the provision of financial resources. The direct care roles were categorized into 9 categories, namely, psychosocial and financial support, educator, liaison, service provider, counselor, discharge planning and followups after discharge, assessment and eligibility, crisis intervention, and client and system advocacy.Conclusion: Most of the roles derived from the analysis of interviews were specialized roles of medical social workers. But the tasks related to the roles showed that most of the tasks defined for the roles are either not professional or clear.
