تجارب دانشجویان رشته مامایی از اولین حضور در اتاق زایمان

مقدمه: یادگیری در بالین یک فرایند پیچیده و چند وجهی است و دارای جنبه های شناختی و عاطفی و عملکردی است و تاثیر مهمی بر دانشجویان به خصوص دانشجویان تازه وارد دارد. اولین محیط بالین مهمترین جایگاه تصمیم گیری در ارتباط با انتخاب رشته به عنوان یک شغل می باشد. لذا به دلیل تاثیرات عمیقی که تجارب اول دانشجویان بر نگرش آن ها نسبت به حرفه و همچنین عملکرد آنها دارد، این مطالعه با هدف تبیین تجارب دانشجویان مامایی از اولین حضور در اتاق زایمان انجام گرفته است. روش: این مطالعه از نوع کیفی با رویکرد روش پدیدار شناسی توصیفی انجام شد. مشارکت کنندگان 20 دانشجوی مقطع کارشناسی پیوسته مامایی در ترم سه یا چهار بودند که از طریق نمونه گیری مبتنی بر هدف وارد مطالعه گردیدند. جمع آوری اطلاعات از طریق مصاحبه های انفرادی و گروه متمرکز انجام شد. جهت تجزیه و تحلیل داده ها همزمان با جمع آوری داده از روش آنالیز هفت مرحله ای کلایزی استفاده گردید. یافته ها: پس از جمع آوری و تجزیه تحلیل داده ها اطلاعات 216 کد استخراج شد. کدهای استخراج شده در قالب 7 کد معنایی دسته بندی گردید و سپس دو تم اصلی دگرگونی باورهای قبلی و استرس زایی کارآموزی زایمان را در تجربیات مشارکت کنندگان پدیدار ساخت. بحث و نتیجه گیری: یافته های این پژوهش نشان داد که باورهای قبلی دانشجویان معمولا بعد از اولین حضور در لیبر دگرگون می شود. عوامل مختلفی در اولین تجربه رویارویی دانشجویان موثر ذکر شدند لذا با توجه به نتایج این مطالعه و مطالعات مشابه و استرس آمیز بودن این رشته لازم است تلاشهایی در جهت آماده سازی دانشجویان قبل از حضور در بالین صورت گیرد تا بتوان موجب کاهش استرس اولین تجربه بالینی دانشجویان و ارتقاء آموزش بالینی در این رشته گردید.

Midwifery Students' Experiences of their First Attendance in the Delivery Room

Introduction: Clinical education is a multidimensional and complex process with cognitive, emotional,and functional aspects. The first experience of clinical environment is the most important point ofdecisionmaking regarding the field of study as a future career path. Because of the enormous impact thatthe first experience of attendance in the delivery room might have on the students rsquo; views regarding theirfuture career and performance, the aim of this study was to describe the first experience of midwiferystudents in the delivery room.Method: This qualitative study was performed using a descriptive phenomenological approach in Iran.The subjects of the study consisted of 20 undergraduate midwifery students in their third or fourthsemester. They were selected through purposive sampling method. Data were collected via individualtaperecorded interviews and focus group. Data were simultaneously analyzed using Colaizzi rsquo;s sevenstepanalysis method.Results: Through data analysis, 216 codes were extracted which were classified under 7 semantic codes.Then, the 2 main themes of transformation of previous beliefs and stress caused by delivery training wereextracted from the experiences of the participants.Conclusion: The results of this study showed that the previous beliefs of the students underwenttransformation on their first experience of attending the delivery room. Various factors influenced theirfirst experience. According to the results of this study and other similar studies, and due to the stressfulnature of this field of study, attempts to prepare students before entering the delivery room to reduce thestress experienced in their first attendance and promote clinical education are necessary.
