بررسی موانع و مشکلات پژوهش در حوزه علوم پزشکی ایران از دیدگاه اعضای هیئت علمی، کارشناسان پژوهشی و دانشجویان: مرور سیستماتیک

مقدمه: اهمیت پژوهش و تولید علم در دنیای امروز به حدی است که در ارزیابی کارنامه علمی هر کشور میزان ارائه مقالات، تعداد نیروی محقق و حجم سرمایه گذاری در بخش تحقیقات به عنوان شاخص های توسعه یافتگی در نظر گرفته می شوند. مهم ترین امر در پیشرفت و رونق پژوهش شناخت چالش ها و رفع موانع موجود است. مطالعات متنوعی در دانشگاه های علوم پزشکی به منظور شناخت موانع تولید علم از نظر ذینفعان صورت گرفته است هدف مطالعه حاضر جستجوی نظام‌ مند اطلاعات موجود در این باره است.مواد و روش ها: این مطالعه یک مرور سیستماتیک به وسیله جستجو در مقالات و مستندات بدون محدودیت زمانی در پایگاه های اینترنتی داخلی(magiran، iran medex، sid و medlib) هم چنین خارجی(google scholar, pubmed and scopus) است. جستجو با استفاده از کلید واژه های مرتبط به شکل جستجو در عناوین مقالات بود. یافته های پژوهش: در مجمع 16 مقاله و 1 مستند در جستجو شناسایی شدند. که 13 مقاله صرفاً دیدگاه اعضای هیئت علمی و 3 مقاله دیدگاه پژوهشگران را با دیدگاه اعضای هیئت علمی مقایسه کرده بود. مطابق نتایج از دیدگاه اعضای هیئت علمی کمبود وقت به علت اشتغالات آموزشی، نبود سیاست های مدون تشویق و ترغیب پژوهشگران و کافی نبودن اعتبارات مالی، عدم متناسب سازی امتیازات پژوهشی با نظام ارتقای اعضای هیئت علمی و کمبود نیروی انسانی پژوهش را مهم ترین موانع در راه پژوهش بودند. از دیدگاه کارشناسان پژوهشی عدم آشنایی با فرهنگ کار گروهی و نقص در تدوین اهداف و برنامه ها مهم ترین چالش های پژوهشی هستند. از نقطه نظر دانشجویان نبود اولویت های پژوهشی، کمی انگیزه در محققین، عدم همکاری لازم سیستم محیطی با پژوهشگران و کمی اعتبارات پژوهشی از مهم ترین موانع بودند.بحث و نتیجه گیری: با توجه به نتایج به طور کلی دیدگاه اعضای هیئت علمی در خصوص موانع و چالش های پژوهشی علی رغم تنوع در پرسش نامه ای جمع آوری اطلاعات و تنوع جغرافیای نزدیک به هم است به طور کلی کمی اعتبارهای پژوهشی بیشترین نما را در پژوهش های مختلف داشته اند. بعد از آن ها می توان به پیچیدگی فرآیندهای تصویب طرح های پژوهشی را به عنوان مانع پرتکرار بعدی مطرح کرد.

Barriers to Research Implementation in Medical Sciences in Iran from the Viewpoints of Faculty Members, Researchers, and Students: A Systematic Review

Introduction: The importance of research and knowledge production is critical worldwide. Therefore, the number of researchers and published articles as well as the volume of investment in research is considered the indicators of development in any country. Accordingly, the most important factor in the progress and prosperity of research is to recognize the challenges and barriers. Various studies have been carried out at the Universities of Medical Sciences in order to identify the barriers to knowledge production regarding the stakeholders rsquo; viewpoints. Therefore, this study aimed to identify barriers to knowledge production from the viewpoint of faculty members, research experts, and students in Iran. Materials Methods: This systematic review was conducted utilizing the articles and documents on Iranian web sites (i.e., Magiran, Iran medex, SID, and Medlib) as well as foreign databases (i.e., Google scholar, PubMed, and Scopus) without any time limit. Moreover, the keywords in the titles of articles were employed in the search process. Findings: Totally, 16 articles and one documentary were identified in the search process. Out of all, 13 and 3 articles compared the viewpoints of faculty members and the views of faculty members with research experts, respectively. According to faculty members rsquo; viewpoints lack of time due to heavy workload, policies to encourage researchers, adequate funding, appropriate promotion system for faculty members, and human resource shortages were the main research barriers in medical sciences. On the other hand, the research experts indicated the lack of teamwork culture and existence of defects in goals and programs as the most important challenges in research implementation. Moreover, lack of research priorities, motivation for research, cooperation with researchers, and adequate funding were the main obstacles in viewpoints of students. Discussion Conclusions: According to the results, the faculty members share same viewpoints regarding research barriers despite the variety in locations geographically and diversity in data collection tools. Generally, lack of research funding was considered as the main research barrier. Moreover, the complexity in research approval processes ranked the second main challenge confronting the researchers in the field of medical sciences.
