مقایسه تطبیقی شخصیتِ قهرمان در تعزیۀ شهادت امام حسین(ع) با الگوی سفرِ قهرمان جوزف کمبل

هدف بنیادین این پژوهش، تحلیلِ شخصیت قهرمانی دینی، بر بستری تطبیقی با قهرمان اسطوره‌ای است. لذا مسئله بنیادین این تحقیق آن است که شخصیت امام حسین(ع) به‌عنوان یک قهرمان دینی در نمایشِ تعزیه، تا چه حد با الگوی سفرِ قهرمانِ جوزف کمبل که یک روایتِ یگانه از ساختار مشترک میان تمام داستان‌های اسطوره‌ای است، همخوانی و قرابت دارد. برای یافتن پاسخ این پرسش، با استفاده از پژوهشی بنیادین، مبتنی بر شیوۀ کیفی و به‌طور اخص، با استفاده از روش توصیفی- تحلیلی، بر بنیان مطالعه‌ای تطبیقی، و همچنین تحقیقی مستند بر اسنادِ کتابخانه‌ای انجام شده و داده‌ها به شیوۀ استقراریی مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفته است. پس از درک نظریۀ کمبل و بازخوانی مراحل آن از متن تعزیه، به‌رغم افتراق‌هایی که در این دو زیست قهرمانانه مبتنی بر ابعاد درونی شخصیت قهرمانِ اسطوره‌ای و دینی وجود دارد، اما یافته‌های این تحقیق بر آن اذعان دارد که قهرمانِ تعزیۀ شهادتِ امام حسین(ع) تا حد زیادی با قهرمان اسطوره‌ای در الگوی کمبل مطابقت دارد. قهرمانِ تعزیه مراحل «عزیمت» و «تشرف» را همانند قهرمانِ اسطوره‌ای طی می‌کند، اما در مرحلۀ «بازگشت»، تفاوت‌هایی میان این دو دیده می‌شود که بنا بر اعتقادات شیعیان مبتنی بر زندگی و رستگاری بعد از شهادت قابل‌توجیه است. انطباق قهرمانِ دینی تعزیه با قهرمان اسطوره‌ای کمبل نشان از سیر حرکتی مشابه در جهت کمال میان دو وضعیت متفاوت از شخصیتِ قهرمان دارد. چنانکه حرکت، تغییر و رشد لازمه شخصیتِ قهرمان در هر بستری است. همچنین قهرمانِ تعزیه مراحل دیگری را در جهت سلوک روحانی خود طی می‌کند که منجر به تاثیرگذاری بیشتر و پایداریش در اذهان جامعه می‌شود.

a comparative analysis of the hero's character in the ta'zieh of imam hussain's (a.s.) martyrdom with joseph campbell's hero's journey framework

the paper analyzes the religious hero character with the mythological hero through the lens of comparative study. the fundamental question of this study is to what extent the character of imam hussain (a.s.) as a religious hero in the ta’zieh performance aligns with joseph campbell’s hero’s journey, which presents a universal narrative structure shared by all mythological stories. consequently, a primary researchapproach was employed based on qualitative methods, precisely a descriptive- analytical method. the study follows a comparative approach, using library-based documents, and the data were analyzed inductively.after understanding campbell’s theory and rereading its stages in the context of ta’zieh, despite differences stemming from the inner dimensions of mythological and religious heroic personas, the findings of this research suggest that the hero of the martyrdom of imam hussain (a.s.)largely corresponds to the mythological hero in campbell’s model. the ta’zieh hero passes through the stages of “departure” and “initiation,” similar to the mythological hero. however, differences appear in the “return” stage, which can be explained by shiite beliefs regarding life and salvation after martyrdom. the alignment of the religious hero in ta’zieh with campbell’s mythological hero demonstrates a similar pathtoward perfection in two types of heroic characters. movement, change, and growth are essential traits of a hero in any context. additionally, the ta’zieh hero undergoes further stages in their spiritual journey, leading to a more significant impact and enduring presence in society’s collective memory.
